Latest 24-Hour Airstrike Report in Iran
WANA (Apr 04) – The President of Iran’s Red Crescent Society reported extensive damage to civilian areas and critical infrastructure in several provinces following airstrikes between April 3–4, 2026. He condemned these attacks as clear violations of international humanitarian law.
Pirhossein Kolivand stated that between 8:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, airstrikes struck Bushehr, Tehran, Zanjan, Fars, Lorestan, and Hormozgan provinces. In Tehran, affected areas included Malard, Velenjak (Shahid Beheshti University), Shahriar, Fasham, Qarchak, and Emamzadeh Davood, while significant damage was reported in Bandar Abbas, Bandar Khamir, Noorabad, and Jahrom in other provinces.
He added that 22,810 commercial units, 322 health and medical centers, 763 schools, 18 scientific and academic institutions, and 20 Red Crescent facilities were damaged. Emergency response equipment—including 3 helicopters, 46 ambulances, and 48 operational vehicles—was also affected.
Kolivand described the attacks as criminal and brutal, emphasizing that targeting civilian areas, medical centers, educational institutions, and emergency facilities violates the principles of distinction and proportionality under international humanitarian law and demonstrates the enemy’s failure to achieve its objectives.

He criticized the attackers for disregarding the very rules and commitments they themselves established.
The Red Crescent official reported 4 Red Crescent responders and 2 pregnant women killed, with 18 emergency personnel injured, and noted that 24 medical staff were killed and 116 injured.
Additional targeted sites included Khuzestan petrochemical facilities, the Shalamcheh border trade terminal, Shahid Beheshti University science labs, and residential homes.
Kolivand stressed that the Iranian Red Crescent strongly condemns these acts, affirms the right of the population to safety and humanitarian support, and calls on domestic and international authorities to respond immediately to these gross violations of humanitarian law.
He concluded: “We will stand with the people until our last breath, defending the rights of the nation with all our capacity. The path of resistance and resilience will continue and will never stop.”
