WANA (Jun 14) – A source close to Iran’s negotiating team provided new details on the ongoing indirect talks between Tehran and Washington just hours before Israel’s strike on the Dahiyeh district of Beirut.

 

According to the source, a Qatari delegation is currently in Tehran, serving as an intermediary to convey Iran’s proposed terms and detailed positions to the U.S. side.

 

The source stressed that no final agreement has been reached and that negotiations remain ongoing. Referring to the ups and downs of the process, the source stated: “Even if the negotiations move forward, backward, or experience setbacks, Iran’s fundamental condition is that all of its key demands must ultimately be fully addressed.”

 

The source also noted that even if all of Iran’s positions were accepted, no agreement would be signed within the timeframe previously mentioned by U.S. President Donald Trump.

 

These remarks were made shortly before Israel launched its latest strikes on the Dahiyeh area in southern Beirut, an attack that has once again drawn attention to the intersection of regional developments and diplomatic efforts.
