WANA (Mar 24) – As a result of attacks by the Israeli-American regime, the homes of Tehran residents were damaged, and the municipality has announced that around 24,000 residential units require repairs.

According to the Tehran Municipality, 1,869 families were affected during the imposed war and require temporary housing.

Tehran Municipality spokesperson Motahar Mohammadhani said that 1,245 families—approximately 4,200 people—have so far been accommodated in 23 residential facilities.

It has now been 25 days since the start of the second imposed Zionist-American war against Iran, during which some homes in Tehran were damaged in missile attacks.

In line with official directives, the municipality has provided temporary accommodation for those affected and has begun reconstruction work. In addition, 140 families have already returned home after minor repairs were completed.

Officials say that around 24,000 residential units still require repairs, ranging from minor fixes such as broken glass, doors, and windows to cases requiring major reconstruction or complete rebuilding.

According to assessments, around 100 buildings require special structural reinforcement or full demolition and reconstruction.
