WANA (Apr 20) – As speculation over a second round of negotiations intensifies, reports from Iranian domestic and foreign sources point to significant contradictions and uncertainties surrounding the issue.

According to remarks by Donald Trump, the President of the United States, speaking to a foreign source, his vice president JD Vance, along with a delegation, is en route to Islamabad to participate in the second round of talks with Iran.

However, another foreign source has reported that Vance is scheduled to depart for Pakistan on Tuesday, highlighting inconsistencies in Western media narratives.

Meanwhile, follow-ups by an Iranian domestic source citing an informed official indicate that the Iranian negotiating team currently has no plans to travel to Pakistan, and no final decision has been made in this regard.

In a separate development, it has been reported that the United States Navy targeted an Iranian commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman yesterday. This comes after CENTCOM previously announced the beginning of what it described as a maritime blockade against Iran.

Military analysts consider this move a violation of the ceasefire and believe that Iran has responded by suspending vessel traffic near the Strait of Hormuz.

Additionally, Russian sources have warned Iran to take seriously the possibility of a “media stunt” or a deceptive scenario by its adversaries aimed at paving the way for a new round of attacks.

Despite these developments, no official in Tehran has clearly stated whether Iran intends to participate in the negotiations referenced by Trump, further adding to the prevailing uncertainty.
