Iran to Name Unrest Victims, Counter Western Media Lies
WANA (Jan 29) – Dr Aref, the First Vice President of Iran: “In the coming days, the names of all recent victims (Unrest death) will be announced along with their national identification codes.”
The First Vice President added that any claims of discrepancies will be reviewed and, if verified, corrected and officially communicated to the public.
Yesterday, Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, issued an order stating that the names and details of all those who lost their lives in recent incidents will be made public.
By disclosing the names of all the deceased, the Iranian government seeks to counter the false claims made by foreign media regarding the actual number of casualties in the recent unrest in Iran.

The U.S. Does Not Believe in Diplomacy. Another Deception is Underway
WANA (Jan 29) – Latest Status of U.S. Threats Against Iran:
1. The intensity of threats against the country has increased, with more threatening messages being received.
2. Contrary to U.S. media propaganda, it shows no willingness toward diplomacy.
3. Despite Zionist posturing, Iran assesses that the U.S. and the regime will act jointly in any future attack.

Summoning the German Ambassador to Tehran to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
WANA (Jan 29) – Following statements by the German Chancellor against Iran and the provocative positions of its officials regarding the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “Axel Dittmann,” the country’s ambassador, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Thursday, Bahman 9) by “Alireza Yousofi,” the Assistant Minister and Director General of Western Europe.
Tehran Mayor’s Clarifications Regarding Public Shelters in the Event of a Potential Conflict
WANA (Jan 29) – The Mayor of Tehran, Alireza Zakani, regarding wartime shelters in the event of any potential conflict between the U.S. and Iran, stated: “We have made a series of arrangements for these shelters; for instance, the metro lines have a certain capacity. Araghchi to travel to Ankara tomorrow
WANA (Jan 29) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, will travel to Turkey tomorrow on an official visit to hold formal meetings.
Turkey’s Hurriyet newspaper, in its today’s issue, referring to last night’s phone call between Erdogan and Trump, stated: The US President has agreed to a tripartite meeting with representatives from Iran, the United States, and Turkey in Ankara.
Erdogan announced his readiness to host Trump and President Pezeshkian.

WANA (Jan 29) – Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has reportedly called on the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council to take decisive action in response to recent statements by the U.S. President, which he described as explicit threats of military action against Iran.
Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Amir Saeed Iravani, characterized the remarks as a serious violation of the UN Charter and warned that such actions contribute to regional instability and heighten the risk of conflict….

Iranian Officials React to Trump’s Threats
WANA ( Jan 29) – Following Donald Trump’s words about Iran, Iranian officials reacted to U.S. threats against Iran.
Ali Shamkhani, Special Representative of the Supreme Leader in the Supreme Defense Council, stated: “Limited strike” is an illusion. Any military action by the United States, from any point of origin and at any level, will be considered the start of a war, and the response to it will be immediate, comprehensive, and unprecedented. The aggressor, the heart of Tel Aviv, and all supporters of the aggressor will be targeted.”
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister, also wrote on X: “Our brave armed forces are fully prepared and ready, with their fingers on the trigger, to swiftly and decisively respond to any aggression against the soil, airspace, and territorial waters of our beloved country.”
He added, “The valuable lessons learned from the 12-day war have given us the capability to now respond with greater strength, speed, and intensity.”
“At the same time, Iran has always welcomed a fair, just, and mutually beneficial nuclear agreement—one that is based on equal footing and free from any coercion, threats, or intimidation, Araghchi said.”
“An agreement that ensures Iran’s right to access peaceful nuclear technology and guarantees non-proliferation. Such weapons have no place in our security calculations, and we have never sought to obtain them, he concluded.”….

Iraqi Leaders Warn of Regional Escalation if Iran Is Attacked
WANA (Jan 29) – Prominent Iraqi political and militia leaders have issued stern warnings over any potential attack on Iran, emphasizing that such a move could ignite widespread conflict across the region.
Sayyed Hashem Al-Haidari, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Hezbollah-affiliated movement Ahadullah, stated that an attack on Iran would trigger a “regional volcanic eruption.”
He criticized U.S. President Donald Trump, calling him “foolish” and asserting that Trump “does not understand that any aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran would lead to a fate full of shame, destruction, humiliation, and defeat.”
Meanwhile, Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi, Secretary-General of the Iraqi Asaib Ahl al-Haq-linked Al-Nujaba movement, also warned that Iraq would not remain a passive observer in the event of any U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran. He added that such an attack would set the entire West Asia region ablaze.
Both leaders stressed that Iran is prepared to defend itself, and any external military intervention would have far-reaching consequences beyond its borders.
