List of Iran’s Rail and Road Infrastructure Hit in Today’s Attacks
WANA (Apr 07) – Multiple transport routes across Iran were damaged in reported attacks, according to local reports.
Strikes were reported on the Tehran–Mashhad railway line in Rey, a railway bridge near Kashan in Isfahan province, and rail lines in Karaj. A railway bridge on the Zanjan–Mianeh route was also hit.
In Qom province, a road in the western area was targeted but remains operational. In Tabriz, road access to Tehran was temporarily blocked but later reopened.
Train services to Mashhad and routes in the southern and Zagros railway networks have been suspended until further notice.
Previously, the B1 Bridge in Karaj—considered one of the region’s major engineering projects— also sustained serious damage in strikes. The bridge, which was nearing completion, was expected to open soon. The attack left a number of civilians dead and several others injured.
