WANA (Apr 01) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Second Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, expressed appreciation for Yemen’s leadership, armed forces, and people, as well as Lebanon’s Hezbollah, for their actions against the United States and Israel.

 

The spokesperson thanked Yemen’s leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, along with the country’s armed forces and citizens, for what was described as their “steadfastness” in confronting the United States and Israel, and for their “powerful presence” on what was called the “front of truth.”

 

The statement also praised the “remarkable courage” of the people of Lebanon and commended the operations of Hezbollah, describing them as “pride-inspiring” and highlighting what it called “painful blows” inflicted on Israeli forces.

WANA (Apr 01) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Army announced that it has carried out drone strikes against locations hosting U.S. military assets in the region, including AWACS surveillance aircraft and refueling planes.

 

In Statement No. 51, the army said the attacks were launched early today in response to “brutal airstrikes” by the United States and Israel against Iran, particularly targeting residential and civilian areas.

 

According to the statement, Iranian forces targeted the locations of U.S. AWACS and refueling aircraft stationed at Ben Gurion Airport, as well as radar systems for detecting and tracking missiles and combat drones, and electronic warfare sites designed to counter drones in the United Arab Emirates.
