Zarif Says Backers of Failed Resolution Are “Accomplices to War Crimes”

WANA (Apr 07) – Former Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that supporters of a failed resolution at the United Nations Security Council are “accomplices to war crimes.”

 

In a statement, Zarif said that “aggressors” continue to target infrastructure while openly declaring that “an entire civilization will die.”

 


Iran’s Former FM Reacts to Trump’s Words

WANA (Apr 07) – Iran’s former FM, Mohammad Javad Zarif,  reacts to Donald Trump’s recent remarks on in a post on X, stating: “Aggressors keep targeting infrastructure & ignorantly boast ‘a whole civilization will die.”

 

He added, “The UN Security Council is numb. Yet some shamelessly tried & failed to pass the aggressors’ resolution. Those SC members who supported it are enablers of WAR CRIMES & liable as accomplices.”

 


Canadian Prime Minister Calls for Protection of Infrastructure Amid Iran Conflict

WANA (Apr 07) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, referring to the ongoing conflict involving the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, has called for all sides to avoid targeting infrastructure.

 

Speaking on Tuesday evening, Carney stated that Canada expects all parties involved in the Iran conflict to respect international law. According to Canadian media sources, he added that this includes refraining from targeting civilians or civilian infrastructure.

 


Iran’s Strikes Are Pushing U.S. Military Leadership Toward Ending the War

 

WANA (Apr 07) – Mohsen Rezaei, Military Advisor to the Commander-in-Chief and member of the Expediency Discernment Council, wrote on his X account that Iran’s “powerful strikes” have created difficult conditions for the United States, influencing American generals and governments worldwide to encourage Washington to exit the conflict.

 

He further claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing U.S. President Donald Trump toward what he described as “political suicide.”

 

Rezaei added that with each risky step taken by Washington, the United States will face greater consequences in the region.

 


Air Defense Forces Intercept and Destroy Two Enemy Cruise Missiles Over Iran

 

WANA (Apr 07) – The Public Relations Office of the Iranian Army announced that, a few hours ago, two cruise missiles launched by the “American–Israeli aggressor” were detected and successfully intercepted by Iran’s Air Defense Force.

 

According to the statement, the missiles were shot down and destroyed over northern Tehran and the broader Hamadan region using integrated air defense systems.

 


Attack on Iran’s Aerospace Research Institute

 

WANA (Apr 07) – The Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran announced an attack and confirmed that the recent attack on the Aerospace Research Institute resulted in no loss of life.

 

In a post on X, Mohammad Ali Dadgostarnia described the incident as a “new gift from colonialism,” adding that repeated strikes on research centers and universities demonstrate the nature of the aggression. He emphasized that, fortunately, there were no human casualties.

Iran Atomic Energy Organization Condemns Attack on Heavy Water Facility

WANA (Apr 07) – The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said in a post on X that an attack on Iran’s heavy water facilities is an attack on “hope in people’s hearts.”

 

The statement referred to cancer patients awaiting treatment, infants needing early diagnosis, and researchers working on DNA and enzymes for life-saving purposes.

 

It added that bombing scientific infrastructure related to life sciences constitutes an attack on the fundamental right to life and human health.

WANA (Apr 07) – Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has issued a sharp rebuke to U.S. President Donald Trump following provocative statements regarding the future of the Iranian nation.

 

In a social media post, Aref dismissed the U.S. leader’s remarks as “Stone Age rhetoric,” asserting the resilience of Iran’s deep-rooted heritage. “A civilization that has navigated the turbulence and illusions of ill-wishers for thousands of years will not tremble at Trump’s Stone Age rhetoric,” Aref wrote.

 


Ghalibaf Issues Warning, Declares Readiness to Defend Country

WANA (Apr 07) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on his account on X that he has joined those ready to sacrifice their lives for Iran.

 

He wrote: “Any finger pointed at our nation in threat or in an attempt to force surrender, we will cut it off.” He also described himself as someone willing to sacrifice his life for Iran.

 


List of Iran’s Rail and Road Infrastructure Hit in Today’s Attacks

 

WANA (Apr 07) –  Multiple transport routes across Iran were damaged in reported attacks, according to local reports.

 

Strikes were reported on the Tehran–Mashhad railway line in Rey, a railway bridge near Kashan in Isfahan province, and rail lines in Karaj. A railway bridge on the Zanjan–Mianeh route was also hit.

 

In Qom province, a road in the western area was targeted but remains operational. In Tabriz, road access to Tehran was temporarily blocked but later reopened.

 


IRGC Says Advanced U.S. Bomb Recovered Intact in Lorestan

WANA (Apr 07) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said an unexploded GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb was recovered intact in Lorestan Province.

 

According to the statement, the bomb—equipped with advanced guidance and anti-GPS jamming systems—was safely defused by IRGC explosive ordnance disposal units early on April 7.

 


IRGC Says Six Missiles Intercepted Over Qazvin Province

WANA (Apr 07) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that five Tomahawk missiles and one additional cruise missile were intercepted and destroyed in the skies over Qazvin Province. According to the IRGC, the interceptions were carried out by an integrated air defense system operated by its regional forces.

 


Rail Bridge in Qaleh No Damaged in Airstrike

 

WANA (Apr 07) – A local official said that an airstrike attributed to U.S. and Israeli forces damaged a key bridge and railway line in the Qaleh No area of Rey.

 

According to the district head, the only bridge over the Sorkheh Hesar River, which supports a railway line in the village of Moqimabad, was hit during the attack.

 


Four Israeli Soldiers Arrested on Suspicion of Spying for Iran

 

WANA (Apr 07) – Authorities in Israel have arrested four soldiers suspected of espionage on behalf of Iran.

 

According to reports, the individuals—serving in a regular combat unit—were detained on suspicion of coordinated intelligence activities, including during wartime.

 


Iran Reports Interception of Tomahawk Missile in Qazvin Province

WANA (Apr 07) – Iranian air defense forces have reportedly intercepted and destroyed a Tomahawk cruise missile in western Qazvin Province. The missile was downed earlier by the country’s integrated air defense system, operated by forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

 

The interception took place in Buin Zahra County, where the missile was reportedly destroyed before reaching its target.

WANA (Apr 07) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has released official statement number 58, detailing a series of high-volume drone strikes conducted overnight against strategic targets in the “occupied territories”, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait in response to attacks on Iran’s petrochemical and infrastructure facilities.

 

According to the statement, drone strikes hit a power generation unit and fuel storage facility for petrochemical industries in southern Israel near the Dimona area.

 


IRGC Warns Neighboring Countries: Restraint Has Ended!

 

WANA (Apr 07) – The Public Relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its Naval and Aerospace forces launched “Wave 99 of Operation True Promise 4” at dawn today.

 

The combined operation, initiated with the holy code name “Ya Fatima al-Zahra” and dedicated to the “Jewish and Christian martyrs of the imposed wars”, was conducted in response to the U.S.-Israeli crimes in attacking the Assaluyeh petrochemical plants and their facilities.

 

The IRGC utilized ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and offensive drones to strike U.S. bases and interests in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, as well as military troop concentrations and command-and-control centers in the “occupied Palestinian territories”.

Iran Says 310 Students and Teachers Killed in Conflict

WANA (Apr 07) – Iran’s Minister of Education said 310 students and teachers have been killed since the start of the conflict involving Israel and the United States.

 

He added that about 900 educational, administrative, camp, and sports facilities were damaged, including 750 schools. He also said Iran has raised the issue with UNESCO and UNICEF through the Foreign Ministry.

 


IRGC Says Israeli Orbiter Drone Destroyed in Southern Iran

WANA (Apr 07) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Hormozgan province reported that an Israeli Orbiter drone was destroyed in the village of Mishi in Sirik County.

 


Iranian President Says 14 Million Ready to Defend Country

 

WANA (Apr 07) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said in a post on X that more than 14 million Iranians have declared their readiness to sacrifice their lives in defense of the country. “I also have been, am, and will remain devoted to sacrificing my life for Iran,” he added in the message.

 


Israel Strikes Jewish Synagogue in Tehran

 

WANA (Apr 07) – An Israeli-U.S. missile strike targeted central Tehran several hours ago, resulting in the destruction of a Jewish synagogue and a residential building near Taleghani Street.

 

Emergency responders are currently on the scene, working frantically to rescue individuals trapped beneath the debris of the place of worship.

 


Devastating Missile Strikes on Haifa, No Interceptions Reported

WANA (Apr 07) – Brig. Gen. Seyed Majid Mousavi, commander of the aerospace division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed that Iranian missile strikes hit key infrastructure in Haifa over the past 24 hours.

 

He said targets included refineries, power facilities, ports, and rail networks, adding that no interception by Israeli air defense systems was observed. Mousavi also stated that the evacuation of northern areas indicated a shift in the balance of the conflict.
