WANA (Jul 01) – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs and the country’s chief negotiator has provided details of Wednesday’s negotiations in Doha, highlighting trilateral meetings among Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan, as well as discussions with officials from Qatar’s Central Bank.
Kazem Gharibabadi, who traveled to Doha at the head of a delegation to follow up on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, said at the conclusion of this round of talks that the Iranian delegation began its discussions on Wednesday morning (July 1) with meetings involving Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Iranian, Qatari, and Pakistani delegations later held two joint meetings.

Ghalibaf: No Progress on Remaining MoU Clauses Until Initial Five Are Finalized
WANA (Jul 01) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated during a televised address on Tuesday night that Iran would not proceed to the next phase of implementing the remaining clauses of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) until its initial five clauses were fully stabilized and finalized.
The Parliament Speaker added that the first clause of the memorandum explicitly stated that Lebanon’s territorial sovereignty, based on the country’s official and recognized geographical map, must remain the foundational status. He explained that this meant the war must end, no further military operations should occur, and displaced citizens must be able to return to their homes.
