Ghalibaf: Regional Security Depends on the Absence of U.S. Forces

US Airstrikes Leave 53 Dead and 592 Injured in Iran
WANA (Jul 22) – Recent U.S. airstrikes have left 53 people dead and 592 others injured in Iran, according to the head of the Iranian Health Ministry’s Center for Public Relations and Information.
Kermanpour said the figures cover the period from June 27 to 8:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday (July 22). Among those killed were six women and three people under the age of 18. Of the injured, 39 are women and 23 are minors.

Marandi Responds to Trump’s Threat: Persian Gulf States Should Be Evacuated
WANA (Jul 22) – Seyed Mohammad Marandi has responded to Donald Trump’s latest threat against Iran by posting a message on X.
Marandi wrote, “It is now time to evacuate Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and probably Oman.”
His remarks came after Trump claimed that if Iran fires at any ship in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States would bomb and destroy an Iranian bridge or power plant.
Qashqavi: Trump’s Claim That Iran Requested Talks Is False
WANA (Jul 22) – The spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee dismissed U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran had requested negotiations, saying the assertion is “completely false.”
Qashqavi added that Trump should look for better ways to get out of the “quagmire” he is facing. He also said that Trump’s “repeated falsehoods” are no longer capable of providing even short-term reassurance to the markets.
Iranian Innovation Changed the Battlefield Equation
WANA (Jul 22) – Acting Defense Minister and Armed Forces Logistics Chief said that during the recent conflict, the enemy entered the battlefield equipped with some of the world’s most advanced technologies, but Iranian innovation ultimately changed the equation on the ground.
Sardar Ebnolreza stated that as the enemy increased the sophistication of its technologies, Iran’s indigenous defense capabilities advanced accordingly. He added that the battlefield became a platform for accelerating the country’s defense technologies and further strengthening its domestic capabilities.
IRGC Says Strike on U.S. Bases in Jordan Damaged MQ-9 Drones and Helicopters
WANA (Jul 22) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in its Statement No. 42 that the 25th wave of Operation Nasr 2 targeted the U.S. King Faisal and Prince Hassan bases in Jordan with missile and drone strikes.
According to the IRGC’s Public Relations Office, the operation was carried out in response to recent U.S. attacks on Iranian military and civilian sites. The operation, launched under the code name “Ya Hassan ibn Ali,” was dedicated to the victims of the Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab.

Eleventh Night of U.S. Strikes on Iran
WANA (Jul 22) – U.S. forces launched the eleventh wave of air and missile strikes against Iran early Wednesday, targeting multiple locations across the country’s west, south, southwest, and northwest, according to provincial officials. Air defense systems were also reported to be active in Tehran and several other areas during the attacks.
According to official statements, the first reports of the strikes emerged at around 2:40 a.m. The East Azerbaijan Provincial Crisis Management Office said a military site near the city of Tabriz had been struck in an air attack. Officials stated that the explosions heard in the area were linked to the strike and stressed that no locations inside the city of Tabriz had been targeted. Local reports later indicated that several additional explosions occurred west of the city.

Iran Warns of Broad Retaliation After Trump’s Threat Against Nuclear Facilities
WANA (Jul 22) – Iran’s Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya issued a statement in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat earlier today to strike one of Iran’s nuclear sites, warning that any such attack would be regarded as an escalation of the conflict across the region.
The headquarters said the United States had threatened to attack Iran’s nuclear and other sensitive facilities, adding that if the U.S. military carries out such an operation, Tehran will consider it an expansion of the war.
According to the statement, in the event of such an attack, all U.S. interests, as well as those of its allies and supporters, would become targets of what it described as a powerful response by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement was released hours after Trump said the United States would soon target one of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
