Strait of Hormuz Closed to Transit Due to U.S. Actions
WANA (Jul 31) – In response to repeated inquiries from applicants, the Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority reissued a statement confirming that transit through the Strait of Hormuz remains impossible due to ongoing aggressive actions by U.S. military forces in the region.
The agency added that as soon as stability and calm are restored, all transit requests will be reviewed in order of submission, and permits will be issued progressively over time.

IRGC Navy Intercepts Tankers in Strait of Hormuz, Hits Two Vessels
