Hormuz Strait Authority Warns Against Unauthorized Routes
WANA (Jun 25) – The Persian Gulf Sea Authority (PGSA) warned that vessels using routes outside its designated framework in the Strait of Hormuz will not be covered by safe-passage guarantees, insurance, or related liability protections.
The authority said any consequences resulting from unauthorized transit will be the responsibility of the vessel’s owner, operator, and captain.
Third Tanker Reverses Course Following IRGC Warning
WANA (Jun 25) – Three oil tankers have reportedly altered their course and returned toward the Persian Gulf after receiving warnings from the naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which recently announced new navigation routes for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
The vessels were identified as the UAE-owned BLUE STAR I, the Japan-owned AZUMASAN, and OMEGA TRADER, which is managed by a Japanese company.

WANA (Jun 25) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf dismissed claims that Iran would be required to use its unfrozen assets to purchase American products, responding with a sharp message on social media.

WANA (Jun 25) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on the social media platform X that “this world is as though it never existed, while the hereafter is as though it has always existed.”
In his message, Pezeshkian said that Imam Hossein taught humanity to stand against oppression, the temptation of power, and the pursuit of self-interest. “One may sacrifice one’s life, but not one’s dignity; one may stand alone, but not abandon the truth,” he wrote.
