NATO will not take part in the war against Iran

WANA (Mar 02) – Mark Rutte, NATO’s Secretary General, announced on Monday that the alliance will not participate in military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

He stated that “the operation is being led by the United States and Israel,” and emphasized that the strikes could last for several weeks.

 


The Fate Of The Prime Minister Of The Israeli Regime Is Shrouded In Uncertainty

WANA (Mar 02) – The Public Relations Office of the IRGC announced that the office of the prime minister of the Israeli regime and the location of the commander of the regime’s air force were targeted and severely struck by the Islamic Republic’s armed forces in the tenth wave of coordinated and surprise Kheibar missile attacks.

 

The fate of the prime minister of the Israeli regime remains uncertain.

WANA (Mar 02) – Iran’s Law Enforcement Command has warned citizens that enemy projectiles may be two-stage. In some cases, a second explosion can occur minutes after the first. The public is urged to stay alert and avoid approaching impact areas.

 


IRGC Announces Launch of 11th Wave of “True Promise 4” Operation

 

WANA (Mar 02) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations Office announced that the eleventh wave of Operation “True Promise 4” is underway, involving the launch of missiles and drones toward targets in Be’er Sheva.

 


Regional Oil Facilities Not Among Iran’s Targets

 

WANA (Mar 02) – An informed military source told reporters that oil facilities in regional countries have not been, and are not, among Iran’s targets.

 

However, all U.S. and Israeli interests anywhere in the region are considered legitimate targets by Iran and would be subject to attack.

WANA (Mar 02) – The Deputy for Communications and Information at the Office of the President of Iran announced that Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ebn-ol-Reza has been appointed as Acting Minister of Defense.

 

Seyed Mohammad Mahdi Tabatabaei, Deputy for Communications and Information at the Presidential Office, wrote on his personal page on X on Monday that, by decree of President Pezeshkian, Brigadier General Seyed Majid Ebn-ol-Reza has been appointed as Acting Minister of Defense.

Brigadier General Ebn-ol-Reza had previously been appointed on July 26 of this year, upon the proposal of the Minister of Defense and with the approval of the Commander-in-Chief, as Deputy Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

 


Damage to Tehran Emergency Services Building in Recent Attacks

WANA (Mar 02) – The spokesperson for Tehran Emergency Services announced: A few minutes ago (3:00 p.m. local time), the Tehran Province Emergency Services building on Iranshahr Street was struck, and nearby buildings were also hit in a missile attack.

 

The Tehran Emergency Services building sustained very serious damage; however, emergency operations across the province are continuing.

 

Unfortunately, several emergency personnel were injured in the incident, although the general condition of most of them is reported to be stable.

 


Continuation of U.S. and Israeli Military Strikes on Tehran

WANA (Mar 02) – Following continued missile attacks on Tehran, areas in the east, west, north, and southeast of the city were hit, including Sepah Square, the vicinity of Ferdowsi Square, Hemmat Highway, and Babayi Highway.

 

News sources reported that a diplomatic police center near Ferdowsi Square was also targeted. Images circulated on social media show damage to the building.

 

Israel and the United States struck a street leading to Ferdowsi Square. Moments after emergency response teams gathered at the scene, the area was targeted again, and most of the emergency personnel present were killed.

 

Further details regarding possible casualties or the extent of the damage have not yet been released, and official authorities are reportedly assessing the scope of the incident.


555 Killed So Far in Israeli–U.S. Attacks Across Iran

WANA (Mar 02) – According to field reports from the Iranian Red Crescent Society, 131 counties across Iran have been affected by the ongoing attacks, and 555 Iranians have so far lost their lives.

 

Following what were described as Israeli–U.S. terrorist attacks targeting various parts of the country, the Iranian Red Crescent announced that its emergency response forces are on full nationwide alert.

 

Based on field assessments by Red Crescent rescue teams, 131 counties have been impacted. As of now, 555 people have been confirmed dead. Rescue, relief, evacuation, and medical assistance operations are continuing without interruption…

 


Iran’s Air Defense Downs a U.S. F-15

WANA (Mar 02) – The Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters announced that Iran’s air defence forces have shot down a U.S. F-15 fighter jet near the Kuwaiti border.

 

According to the statement, the aircraft belonged to what was described as the “aggressor U.S. military.”

 

Residents of the region, particularly in Kuwait, have shared videos on social media purportedly showing the moment the fighter jet went down.

 


Details of the Tenth Wave of Operation True Promise 4

 

WANA (Mar 2) – In its ninth statement regarding Operation True Promise 4, the Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasised that the targeted strike on the Israeli government complex in Tel Aviv, attacks on military and security centres in Haifa, and strikes on East Jerusalem were among the objectives of the tenth wave.

 

In Statement No. 9, the IRGC declared that “the tenth wave of Operation True Promise 4, featuring the manoeuvring of Kheibar missiles, opened the great gates of fire upon the occupied territories,” and warned residents of the occupied territories to stay away from military bases, security and government centres, and to leave the occupied territories immediately.

 


Continuous Aerial Patrols by Iranian Air Force Fighter Jets Over Iran

WANA (Mar 02) – Following aggressive attacks by Israel and the United States against Iran, fighter jets from the Air Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army have taken to the skies in recent hours after scramble alarms were activated to ensure the security of the capital and other major cities.

 

The aircraft deployed over Tehran include Mikoyan MiG-29 and Yakovlev Yak-130 jets, tasked with supporting and safeguarding the capital.

 

According to an informed source within the Iranian Army, the objectives of these flights include conducting continuous aerial patrols and targeting enemy-affiliated targets.

WANA (Mar 02) – The city of Sanandaj was targeted by missile strikes attributed to Israel, destroying several residential buildings and causing civilian casualties.

 

Field observations by reporters indicate that multiple homes located adjacent to a local police station in Sanandaj were heavily damaged in the attack.

 

Sanandaj Governor Gharib Sajadi stated that, so far, three people have been confirmed dead and many others injured as a result of the strike.

 

Referring to the ongoing rescue efforts, Sajadi noted that debris removal operations are still underway and that the injured are being transferred to medical centres for treatment.

 

The targeted sites are situated within densely populated residential neighbourhoods, raising concerns that the number of fatalities and injuries may increase as rescue teams continue their work.

 


Meeting of Iran’s Interim Leadership Council Held

WANA (Mar 02) – A session of Iran’s Interim Leadership Council has been held, attended by President Masoud Pezeshkian, Judiciary Chief Hojjatoleslam Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, and Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, a member of the Guardian Council.

 

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced on Sunday afternoon (March 1) the commencement of the Leadership Council’s work, stating that the Council will resolutely continue the path of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

 


Larijani: We Will Not Engage in Any Negotiations with the United States

WANA (Mar 02) – Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, wrote in a post on X that Iran will not engage in any negotiations with the United States.

 

Ali Larijani stated on his X account: “We will not engage in any negotiations with the United States.”

 

Earlier, Al Jazeera, citing The Wall Street Journal, had claimed that the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council had launched new efforts to resume talks with Washington.
