WANA (Mar 04) – Following a missile attack by U.S.–Israeli fighter jets, Ismat Girls’ School in the city of Urmia was destroyed.
According to reports, at around 2:00 a.m., the school, located in the Darreh Chay neighbourhood on 22 Bahman Street, was struck by a missile, leaving the building entirely demolished.
Schools, which are meant to be safe spaces for students’ education and development, have been targeted in these attacks.
Nearly $2 Billion in U.S. Military Equipment Damaged in First Four Days of War with Iran
WANA (Mar 04) – According to data compiled by Anadolu Agency, nearly $2 billion worth of U.S. military equipment was damaged or destroyed in the region during the first four days of military confrontation with Iran.

Latest Figures on Students and Teachers Killed or Injured in Iran / Around 20 Schools Damaged

WANA (Mar 04) – Iran’s Ministry of Education has released updated figures on casualties within the country’s education sector.
According to the statement:
- Minab County: 168 killed and 110 injured
- Fars Province: 1 teacher killed and 5 students killed
- Ilam Province: 1 teacher killed and 2 students killed
- East Azerbaijan Province: 1 teacher and 2 students killed
- Tehran City: 3 students killed, 2 students injured, and 2 administrative staff injured
- Abyek, Qazvin Province: 1 student killed
- Other counties in Tehran Province: 1 teacher killed and 1 student killed
Additionally, around 20 educational facilities across Iran have been damaged, some of them completely destroyed.
Three Iranian Healthcare Workers Killed in Recent Attacks

WANA (Mar 04) – Iran’s Ministry of Health announced that three healthcare workers have been killed following recent missile attacks by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory.
The victims were identified as:
- Robab Dehdeshti, radiology specialist at Haj Mahmoud Haj Heydar Hospital in Lamerd
- Ali Abdollahi, operations expert at the West District of Tehran Province Emergency Medical Services
- Dr Ali Aria, third-year orthopaedic resident at Sina Hospital
They were killed while carrying out their professional duties within Iran’s healthcare system.
Farewell Ceremony for Iran’s Supreme Leader Postponed

WANA (Mar 04) – Due to expectations of an unprecedented public turnout, the farewell ceremony for Iran’s Supreme Leader has been postponed, with a new date to be announced shortly.
According to Iran’s national media, the decision was made in anticipation of millions of mourners and the need to complete necessary infrastructure.
The ceremony will take place in Tehran; however, contrary to earlier reports suggesting it would be held tonight at 10:00 PM (local time) at Tehran’s Musalla, the schedule has not yet been finalized, and the exact timing will be announced later.

WANA (Mar 04) – Fatemeh Mohajerani said that gasoline reserves are sufficient and there is no cause for concern.
She noted that during times of crisis, some people naturally choose to leave cities. Emphasizing the efforts of the entire oil industry workforce, she said their work has ensured adequate fuel supplies nationwide.
American–Israeli Fighter Jet Shot Down in Northern Tehran
WANA (Mar 04) – A hostile fighter jet was targeted and destroyed by Iran’s air defense systems in the northern part of Tehran, according to reports. The incident occurred after the aircraft entered the airspace of Iran.
Seventeenth Wave of “True Promise 4” Operation Conducted by Iran’s IRGC
WANA (Mar 04) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the seventeenth wave of Operation “True Promise 4” was carried out hours earlier under the code name “Ya Rasul Allah.”
According to the IRGC statement, more than 40 missiles were launched by its Aerospace Force toward American and Israeli targets.

WANA (Mar 04) – The American defense outlet Military Watch reported that Iran’s use of the hypersonic “Fattah-2” missile represents a significant display of military capability.
According to the report, the missile has a stated range of approximately 1,400 kilometers. Its combination of high speed and maneuverability reportedly makes interception “almost impossible.”
Dubai Airport Shutdown Reportedly Costs $1 Million Per Minute
WANA (Mar 04) – Estimates suggest that Dubai International Airport incurs nearly $1 million in economic losses for every minute of closure.
Based on these figures, a 24-hour shutdown could result in losses of approximately $1.44 billion per day.
Since the escalation began, around 21,300 flights across seven major regional airports — including Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi — have reportedly been canceled, marking the largest aviation disruption in the region since the COVID-19 pandemic.

WANA (Mar 04) – The U.S. State Department announced that non-essential government personnel and their families are authorized to leave Riyadh due to security risks.

WANA (Mar 04) – The Director-General of the World Health Organization expressed concern over reports of explosions near Motahari Hospital in Tehran, Iran’s capital.
According to initial reports, parts of the medical facility sustained damage. The WHO emphasized that in times of crisis, hospitals and healthcare centers are needed more than ever and must be protected.
Over 50,000 Tons of Essential Goods Cleared in 24 Hours
WANA (Mar 04) – Iran’s Customs Administration announced that more than 50,000 tons of essential goods were cleared from ports and customs facilities across the country within the past 24 hours.
Officials say the process is ongoing as part of efforts to maintain steady domestic supply chains.
Third THAAD Radar Reportedly Hit — This Time in Jordan
WANA (Mar 04) – Satellite imagery released from Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan indicates that an AN/TPY-2 radar system stationed there has reportedly been struck by ballistic missiles and destroyed.
The radar is part of the U.S.-made THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defence) missile defence system.
Two similar radar systems had previously been reported hit in the United Arab Emirates.
The earlier reported destruction of a long-range AN/FPS-132 early warning radar in Qatar has also been cited. Analysts say the loss of multiple long-range tracking radars could significantly reduce missile interception capabilities in the region.
U.S. Destroyer Hit by “Qadr-380” and “Talaeiyeh” Missiles
WANA (Mar 04) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement that a U.S. destroyer was struck by “Qadr-380” and “Talaeiyeh” missiles while refuelling from an American supply vessel approximately 650 kilometres off Iran’s coast in the Indian Ocean.
In Statement No. 19 of Operation “True Promise 4,” published on the IRGC’s official website, the force said its Navy carried out a missile operation against what it described as a strategic American target at a depth of more than 600 kilometres in the Indian Ocean, calling it a “decisive strike.”
According to the statement, during the course of the operation, a U.S. destroyer refuelling from an American logistics vessel was hit by missiles fired by the IRGC Navy at a distance of 650 kilometres from Iran’s shores.
The statement added that, based on intelligence reports, a large fire broke out on the decks of the two vessels following the strike, darkening the sky over the Indian Ocean.
IRGC Announces Launch of 16th Wave of “True Promise 4” Operation

WANA (Mar 04) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the launch of the 16th wave of its “True Promise 4” operation under the codename “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib.”
According to the IRGC’s public relations office, the latest phase involves the deployment of a large number of missiles and drones by its Aerospace Force targeting what it described as “the heart of the occupied territories,” a reference to Israel.
The statement said further operational details would be released in the coming hours.
Russia and Oman Call for Halt to Military Action Against Iran
WANA (Mar 04) – Russia and Oman have called for an immediate halt to military actions against Iran.
According to reports, both countries expressed concern over the escalation of hostilities in the region and emphasized the need for restraint and a return to diplomatic engagement.
IRGC Warns of “Decisive Response” to Recent Attacks

WANA (Mar 04) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in its 15th official statement, said that recent U.S. and Israeli strikes over the past four days have targeted civilian infrastructure, contrary to claims that military sites were the intended objectives.
According to the statement, schools, hospitals, stadiums, restaurants, and wedding halls were among the sites hit. The IRGC claimed that more than 700 Iranian civilians have been killed and a number of others injured in the attacks.
The statement further alleged that within the past 24 hours, a Tomahawk missile struck a residential home in Oshnavieh County, killing all members of a family. In Salman County, an air-launched missile reportedly hit a private vehicle, resulting in five fatalities.
In the Qasemiyeh neighborhood of Urmia, another missile strike on a residential building killed an elderly couple. The IRGC also stated that a wedding hall and several residential homes in Kangavar County were targeted on the same day.
The statement concluded by warning that “none of these crimes and killings of innocent civilians will go unanswered,” adding that operations against the United States and Israel would continue “at deeper and more advanced levels.”
The IRGC also called on international organizations and human rights bodies to break their silence and pursue accountability for those responsible.
