The spokesperson emphasized that Oman is a friendly, neighboring, and brotherly country to Iran, adding that the security and national sovereignty of Oman are fully respected by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.


Two Heron TP Drones Shot Down Over Tehran

 

WANA (Mar 11) – The Public Relations Office of the Iranian Army announced that two Heron TP drones were detected and destroyed in the skies over Tehran a few minutes ago by the Army’s air defense systems.

 

According to the statement, the drones were intercepted after entering the capital’s airspace and were targeted by air defense units in a timely response. No further details have been released regarding the exact location of the interception or the mission of the drones.

WANA (Mar 11) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi in a post on X pointing to recent attack on an Iranian bank, wrote: “Iran’s national infrastructure is under attack. This time, a branch of my country’s oldest bank was bombed while full of employees.”

 

“They were laboring to ensure Iranians have food on the table ahead of our New Year,” he added.

 

He concluded: “Our Powerful Armed Forces will exact retribution for this crime.”

Switzerland Temporarily Closes Embassy in Tehran

 

WANA (Mar 11) – The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that Switzerland has temporarily closed its embassy in Tehran and withdrawn its Swiss staff from Iran.

 

According to the statement, Switzerland has informed both Iran and the United States of the decision and remains ready to continue transmitting messages between Tehran and Washington if both sides consider it useful.

 

Switzerland added that it plans to return to Tehran and resume operations as soon as conditions allow.

WANA (Mar 11) – Cyber group Handala announced a major cyber operation targeting Stryker Corporation, claiming it was carried out in retaliation for the recent attack on a school in Minab and ongoing cyber assaults against the “Resistance Axis” infrastructure.

 

The statement said the operation was “fully successful,” affecting more than 200,000 systems, servers, and mobile devices, and extracting 50 terabytes of critical data.

WANA (Mar 11) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is under the “intelligent management” of its naval forces at all times, warning that American aggressors and their partners have no right to passage.

 

According to a statement by the IRGC Public Relations, two ships were targeted today for ignoring repeated warnings from Iranian naval forces:

  • The cargo vessel EXPRESS ROOM, owned by Israel and flagged under Liberia, was struck by Iranian projectiles this morning and brought to a halt after failing to heed prior warnings.

WANA (Mar 11) – Alexey Likhachev, head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom, announced that around 450 Russian personnel remain at Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.

 

He said the second phase of Rosatom staff evacuation from the facility was completed early this morning.

 

According to Likhachev, 150 Rosatom employees working at the Bushehr nuclear power plant are being transferred to Russia via Armenia and are currently on their way.

WANA (Mar 11) – A sea ambulance operating on Hormuz Island in southern Iran was struck during what Iranian sources described as a U.S.–Israeli attack on Wednesday.

 

According to local reports, the vessel was stationed at the Shahid Fatemeh Nik Pier when it was hit by missiles at approximately 12:15 p.m. local time.

 

The attack reportedly targeted the only sea ambulance serving the island. No emergency personnel were inside the vessel at the time of the strike, and no casualties were immediately reported.

WANA (Mar 11) – The funeral procession for several Iranians killed in the recent U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran will take place today in Tehran. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. local time, starting from Enqelab Square.

 

The bodies of a number of Iranian commanders will be laid to rest during the ceremony, including Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, IRGC Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, and Major General Aziz Nasirzadeh.

Handala is also the name of a hacker group that has previously infiltrated Israeli politicians’ devices and institutions. However, according to The Times of Israel, social media accounts linked to this group have not mentioned the Hebrew Academy hack, and the logo displayed on the website is slightly different from the hacker group’s usual symbol.
