WANA (Mar 12) – Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, issued a warning to Donald Trump in a post on X (Twitter).

 

Larijani wrote: “Trump says he is looking for a speedy victory. While starting a war is easy, it cannot be won with a few tweets. We will not relent until making you sorry for this grave miscalculation.”

 


Russia Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Iran

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The Embassy of Russia in Tehran announced the delivery of humanitarian relief supplies from Russia to Iran.

 

According to the statement, an Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft operated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia transported humanitarian aid intended for the Iranian authorities.

 

The operation was carried out under orders from Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, and Alexander Kurenkov, Russia’s minister for emergency situations.

 

The aircraft delivered more than 13 tons of medicine to Azerbaijan, where the supplies were handed over to authorized representatives of the Iranian government and then transferred onward to Iran.

 


Iran Condemns Airstrike on Iraq’s Al-Qaim Border Crossing

WANA (Mar 12) – Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, strongly condemned what he described as a U.S.–Israeli military attack on Iraq targeting the Al-Qaim Border Crossing.

 

According to Baghaei, the strike resulted in casualties among Iraqi security personnel. He expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.

 

Baghaei also reaffirmed Iran’s support for the government of Iraq in maintaining the country’s stability and security, adding that Iran remains ready to continue providing assistance to the Iraqi government and people.

 


Fire Breaks Out on U.S. Aircraft Carrier Gerald R. Ford in the Red Sea

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that a fire broke out aboard the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford in the Red Sea.

 

According to the command, two sailors were injured in the incident.

 

CENTCOM stated that the fire was not related to any combat action or military attack and has since been brought under control.


Trump Threatens Iran’s Participation in World Cup

WANA (Mar 12) – Donald Trump said the Iran national football team is welcome at the FIFA World Cup but questioned whether it would be appropriate for them to participate due to safety concerns.

 

In a message, Trump stated: “The Iran national soccer team is welcome to the World Cup, but I really don’t believe it is appropriate that they be there for their own life and safety. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

IRGC Navy Commander: Forces Ready to Deliver Heavy Blows to Aggressors

WANA (Mar 12) – The commander of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the force is prepared to carry out the orders of the Commander-in-Chief and deliver severe blows to any aggressor.

 

Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri emphasized that the strategy of keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed remains in place. He added that, within the framework of this strategy, necessary measures to confront the enemy will continue with strength and determination.


IRGC Announces 42nd Wave of ‘Operation True Promise 4’ Strikes

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it has launched the 42nd wave of Operation True Promise 4, targeting locations in Tel Aviv and U.S. military bases in the region.

 

The strikes reportedly involved the launch of Emad, Qadr, Kheibar Shekan, and Fattah missiles, along with strike drones, aimed at what the statement described as the “heart of Tel Aviv” and bases of U.S. forces in the region.

WANA (Mar 12) – Ali Larijani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, responded to remarks by Donald Trump regarding Iran’s power grid.

 

Larijani said Trump had claimed he could “destroy Iran’s electricity within an hour but chose not to.”

 

According to Larijani, if such an action were carried out, “the entire region would face a blackout within half an hour.”

 

He added that darkness would create “a good opportunity for hunting fleeing American soldiers in the region.”

 


IRGC Warns of Unrestrained Retaliation

WANA (Mar 12) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released Statement No. 34 regarding Operation True Promise 4.

 

Targets included:

  • U.S. troop assembly points along Sheikh Zayed Road and the U.S. presence at Ahmed Al-Jaber Airport were struck with precision hypersonic Fattah missiles.
  • U.S. Marine residences at Al Dhafra Air Base and mobile U.S. bases in Iraq, along with gathering points of Israeli forces in Tel Aviv, hit with a combination of heavy Khorramshahr missiles, Qadr missiles with cluster warheads, and Kheibar Shekan missiles with one-ton warheads.
  • The IRGC stated that these strikes are part of a targeted, continuous, and effective campaign, aligned with the tactics of the U.S. military and Israeli forces.

 

The statement emphasized: “Our operational field is broader than that of the hostile enemy. Retaliation for the enemy’s crimes will be delivered at every level, without consideration or restraint.”

WANA (Mar 12) – The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) reported that ongoing U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran are causing the Middle East tourism sector to incur approximately $600 million in losses daily.

 

The report added that rising regional tensions have led to widespread flight disruptions and the partial paralysis of operations at several airports in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

 


Residential Area in Ahvaz Targeted in Attack

 

WANA (Mar 12) – A residential area on the western bank of the Karun River in Ahvaz was struck by what authorities described as a U.S.-Israeli attack around 12:00 PM Thursday. Local residents reported multiple civilian casualties, including both fatalities and injuries.

 

The affected area is adjacent to a hospital, though no detailed assessment of damages to the facility has yet been released. Nearby, a gas station was also damaged, along with vehicles that were refueling at the time of the attack.

 

Emergency services have closed off surrounding streets and are actively conducting rescue and relief operations. Nearby homes have sustained structural damage from the blast shockwave.

 


IRGC Launches 41st Wave of ‘Operation True Promise 4’

WANA (Mar 12) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the 41st wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out in memory of the martyrs of the Ramadan War. The operation targeted locations in Tel Aviv and “occupied Jerusalem”, as well as bases housing U.S. personnel in the region.

 

The strikes involved more than 10 missiles, including:

  • Khorramshahr missiles with multiple warheads
  • Qadr missiles with multiple warheads
  • Kheibar Shekan missiles with one-ton warheads
  • Fattah hypersonic missiles with one-ton warheads

 

Additionally, the operation employed strike drones to target the designated locations.

WANA (Mar 12) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, warned that any aggression against Iranian islands would trigger a severe response.

 

In a message posted on X (Twitter), Ghalibaf wrote: “Any aggression against the soil of the Iranian islands will shatter all restraints.

 

We will abandon all restraint and make the Persian Gulf run with the blood of invaders. The blood of American soldiers is Trump’s personal responsibility.”

 


Israeli Hermes Drone Shot Down Over Western Iran

 

WANA (Mar 12) – An Israeli Hermes 900 drone was shot down by air defense systems of the Iranian armed forces over Ilam Province in western Iran, according to local reports.

 

The drone was intercepted and destroyed in the skies above the province by Iranian air defense units. No additional details were immediately released.

 


Cyberattack Disrupts Israel’s Railway System

 

WANA (Mar 12) – A cyberattack has disrupted the railway system in Israel. According to reports, the system of Israel Railways has been rendered inoperative following the cyberattack. Israel’s Home Front Command announced that all railway stations are considered unsafe until further notice.

 


IRGC: U.S.-Owned Tanker Hit in the Persian Gulf

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations announced that a tanker described as U.S.-owned was struck in the Persian Gulf early Thursday morning.

 

According to the statement, the vessel Safe Sia, flying the flag of the Marshall Islands and described as an asset linked to the United States Army, was hit in the northern Persian Gulf after allegedly ignoring warnings and orders from the IRGC Navy.

 

The statement added that tankers and vessels transiting the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz should understand that the current insecurity is a result of what it described as U.S. aggression in the region. It advised ships to follow navigation regulations announced by Iran during wartime to avoid being struck by “stray projectiles.”

 


Iranian Army Commander Says Damage to Enemy Radars Eases Access to Israeli Targets

 

WANA (Mar 12) – An Iranian army commander said that damage to enemy radar systems has made it easier for Iranian forces to reach sensitive targets in Israel.

 

Brigadier General Akraminia said that with parts of the enemy’s radar facilities destroyed in key locations, ongoing operations have become easier and provide better access to important targets.

 

He added that Iranian forces successfully targeted the Palmachim Airbase, Ovda Airbase, and facilities belonging to the Shin Bet near Tel Aviv. According to the commander, operations are becoming more precise day by day.

 


Hackers Say Israeli Iran Expert Raz Zimmt Targeted in Cyberattack

WANA (Mar 12) – The hacker group Handala cyber group said it had hacked Raz Zimmt, head of the Iran desk at Israeli security institutes, and released 50,000 emails.

 

In a message attributed to the group, it addressed Zimmt directly, saying:
“Do you still think you can comment on Iran? Today, you learned the hard way what happens when you play with fire—you get burned.”

 


Baghaei Slams Germany for ‘Standing on the Wrong Side of History’

WANA (Mar 12) – Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, criticized Germany over what he described as ignoring the actions of the United States and Israel.

 

In a message posted on X (Twitter), Baghaei responded to remarks by Johann Wadephul, Germany’s foreign minister, during his visit to Israel.

 

Addressing the German minister, Baghaei wrote: “Germany’s FM! You’re siding with the aggressor while ignoring the fact that it is the Israeli regime that has attacked Iran and killed Iranian civilians — including 168 innocent children in the city of Minab alone.”

 

He added: “This is how one ends up on the wrong side of history: by overlooking injustice and atrocities.”

 


Iranian Army  Drone Strikes on Key Israeli Airbases and Shin Bet Headquarters

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The Iranian Army has announced that several Israeli military and security facilities were targeted in a recent drone operation.

 

In statement No. 24, the army said that in the past few hours, Iranian forces carried out attacks using loitering drones against the control tower, runway, and aircraft hangars at the Palmachim and Ovda airbases, as well as the headquarters of Israel’s Shin Bet security agency.

Cyberattack Hits Verifone Israel Payment Systems

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The cyber group Handala has claimed responsibility for infiltrating the systems of Verifone in Israel, targeting the company’s point-of-sale (POS) payment infrastructure.

 

In a statement, the group said the cyber operation was carried out in response to Israeli airstrikes on banking infrastructure. Verifone is considered one of the world’s largest providers of payment solutions and POS terminals.

 

According to the group, the operation—described as “complex”—caused widespread disruption to payment terminals and related systems. It also claimed that transaction records and financial data connected to the systems had been fully extracted…

 


Israeli Health Ministry Reports 2,745 Injuries Since Start of War With Iran

 

WANA (Mar 12) – The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that 2,745 Israelis have been hospitalized since the beginning of the war with Iran, according to the latest official figures released by the ministry.

 

In a statement, the ministry said that 179 Israelis were transferred to hospitals in the past 24 hours. Of those injured, four people were reported to be in moderate condition, while the rest sustained lighter injuries.

 

The report added that 85 injured individuals remain hospitalized across the country and are currently receiving medical treatment.

 


IRGC Announces 40th Wave of ‘Operation True Promise 4’ Missile Strikes

WANA (Mar 12) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the 40th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out using Qadr, Emad, Kheibar Shekan, and Fattah missiles against multiple targets.

 

According to the IRGC Public Relations statement, the strikes targeted locations in Tel Aviv, areas in occupied Jerusalem, Haifa, and U.S. bases in the region including Azraq Air Base and Al Kharj.

 

The operation was reportedly conducted jointly with what the statement described as “Islamic resistance forces.”

 


Baghaei Condemns ‘Unforgivable Crime’ After School Strike in Minab

WANA (Mar 12) – Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, condemned what he described as the “massacre of Iranian little angels” following a strike on a primary school in Minab.

 

Baghaei shared footage of the reported strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School, alleging that the school was hit by a Tomahawk missile launched by U.S. forces on February 28, 2026.

 

In his statement, he wrote: “Double-tap American Tomahawk missile that slaughtered 168 Iranian little angels in the city of Minab on 28 February 2026. An unforgivable egregious war crime that must not go with impunity.”
