Iran’s FM Criticizes U.S. Policy on Russian Oil Imports

WANA (Mar 13) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express strong disapproval of U.S. foreign policy regarding Russian oil imports.

 

Araghchi’s post read: “The U.S. spent months bullying India into halting oil imports from Russia. After just two weeks of conflict with Iran, the White House is now pleading with the world—India included—to buy Russian crude.”

 

He further criticized European support for the U.S., stating: “Europe believed that backing the illegal war on Iran would secure U.S. support against Russia. Pathetic.”

 


Gulf Oil Producers Lose $15 Billion Since Start of War

WANA (Mar 13) – Oil producers in the Persian Gulf have lost at least $15.1 billion in oil and gas revenue since the start of the Middle East war, according to estimates by the commodity analytics firm Kpler cited by Financial Times.

 

The report indicates that the losses have accumulated since the outbreak of the conflict, reflecting the economic impact of the war on energy production and exports in the region.

 


Another Hermes Drone Shot Down

WANA (Mar 13) – An armed Hermes UAV was intercepted and destroyed over Andimeshk by an advanced air-defense system operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

 

The interception was carried out under the supervision of Iran’s integrated national air-defense network. Officials said the total number of drones shot down so far has reached 113, adding that IRGC air defenses destroyed four drones of different types overnight.

 


IRGC Announces New Missile Barrage in ‘True Promise 4’ Operation

 

WANA (Mar 13) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that a new wave of missile strikes has been carried out against targets in Israel as part of its ongoing “True Promise 4” military operation.

 

According to a statement released by the IRGC’s public relations office, the 46th wave of the operation targeted sites in what Iran refers to as the “occupied territories” using several types of heavy ballistic missiles, including the Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Ghadr missile systems.

 


IRGC Strikes Northern Command of Israel and U.S. Troops

 

WANA (Mar 13) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported in Statement No. 37 that the IRGC Aerospace Force, the IRGC Navy, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Hezbollah successfully executed the 45th wave of Operation True Promise 4 in a joint and synergistic operation on Friday afternoon, targeting American-Israeli objectives.

 

In this operation, “Kheibar Shekan” solid-fuel precision-guided missiles and offensive drones were deployed in massive and effective volumes against enemy targets.

 

The most prominent strategic objectives in the design of this operation were the destruction of the “Zionist occupiers’ Northern Command infrastructure” and the targeting of American troop concentration sites following formal warnings to evacuate the region.

 


IRGC Aerospace Commander: 30 Heavy Ballistic Missiles Launched

WANA (Mar 13) – The commander of the aerospace division of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said Iran fired 30 heavy ballistic missiles during a recent operation.

 

Seyed Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, stated that the missiles were launched during Laylat al-Qadr, one of the holiest nights of the Islamic month of Ramadan.

 

“In the Night of Qadr and with the blessings of the people’s prayers, 30 super-heavy ballistic missiles weighing one and two tons were fired at designated targets in the occupied territories,” he said in a written statement.

 


Iran Reports 111 Drones Shot Down by IRGC Air Defenses

 

WANA (Mar 13) – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that an armed MQ-9 drone over Firoozabad, Fars Province, and another aircraft over Tabriz were intercepted and destroyed by the IRGC’s advanced air defense system, operating under the control of the country’s integrated air defense network.

 

According to the IRGC, the total number of drones shot down so far stands at 111, covering various types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

 


Larijani Responds to Hegseth’s Remarks

WANA (Mar 13) – Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, responded to remarks by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth by posting images of senior Iranian officials attending the Quds Day march.

 

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Larijani wrote: “Mr. Hegseth! Our leaders have been, and still are, among the people. But your leaders? On Epstein’s island!”

 

Hegseth had said the Iranian defense industry has been hit hard, with “production lines, their military plants, their defense innovation centers” hit, and “Iran’s leadership is in no better shape.”

 

The new Iranian leader is “wounded and likely disfigured,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Friday, describing the ongoing war as a sure and decisive victory.

 


Ghalibaf: A New Chapter in War Management Has Begun

WANA (Mar 13) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced that a “new chapter in the system of war management” has begun as of this morning. Referring to the large-scale Quds Day rallies, he described the public participation as a movement comparable in scale and spirit to the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

 

Ghalibaf stated that this development has been made possible through the dedication and efforts of the courageous forces defending the Iranian nation, adding that the results and impacts of this new approach to war management will gradually become visible.

 


Dialogue Cannot Precede Repeated Acts of Aggression

 

WANA (Mar 13) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, said that, “We cannot accept that from time to time they speak of dialogue and ceasefire, and then we face a repetition of these crimes and war.”

 

He emphasized, “Our armed forces are fully determined to give the enemy a decisive and unforgettable lesson.”

WANA (Mar 13) – Thousands of people in Greece took to the streets in protest against what they described as U.S. imperialist policies and aggression toward Iran.

 

According to local media reports, demonstrators gathered in Syntagma Square, chanting slogans against war and U.S. interventions.

 

Protesters, estimated in the thousands by news outlets, carried banners and symbols opposing imperialism, as well as the flags of Palestine and Iran, and marched toward the U.S. Embassy in Athens.

 


American Crew Purposely Ignited Gerald R. Ford Aircraft Carrier

Ford, which had reportedly been deployed from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman following previous setbacks, was intentionally set on fire by a number of American military personnel in the Red Sea due to fear among the crew.

Latest Assessment Report on War Damage to Iran’s Civilian Centers

 

WANA (Mar 13) – The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society has released the latest assessment of damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure, stating that the scale of destruction across residential, educational, medical, and emergency sectors has been significant. The incidents have not only damaged critical infrastructure but have also affected the lives of civilians and service personnel.

 

Pir Hossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, said that according to the latest recorded statistics, 24,531 civilian units across various sectors have been damaged.

 

Of these, 19,775 are residential units, indicating that a large portion of the destruction has directly impacted people’s homes and daily lives. In addition, 4,511 commercial units have also sustained damage, which could have substantial economic and livelihood consequences for residents in the affected areas.

 


IRGC Warns U.S. Troops to Leave the Region or “Be Buried Under the Rubble”

In statement No. 35 released by the IRGC’s public relations office, the force said a heavy barrage of Kheibar Shekan ballistic missiles, each carrying a one-ton warhead, was launched against targets belonging to what it described as the “Zionist occupiers.” The attack marked the 44th wave of Operation True Promise 4, carried out on the night of the 23rd day of the holy month of Ramadan and ahead of International Quds Day.

Crash of U.S. Refueling Aircraft in Western Iraq

 

WANA (Mar 13) – A U.S. military aerial refueling aircraft has crashed in western Iraq. United States Central Command stated that a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker went down in western Iraq during a mission called “Epic Fury.”

 

According to the statement, two refueling aircraft were involved in the operation at the time. One aircraft crashed in western Iraq, while the other landed safely. The command added that the incident was not caused by enemy fire or friendly fire and that search-and-rescue operations for the crew are ongoing.

 

A reporter from CBS News reported that the second refueling aircraft was also hit during the mission, but managed to land safely in Israel. The reporter noted that the aircraft that crashed had six crew members on board…

The message urges Arab citizens not to provide lodging to these forces and to report any sightings or information about their whereabouts…

It has been noted that, under current conditions, the passage of oil tankers and commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is highly restricted, pushing global oil prices into triple-digit territory.
