Iranian Ambassador: Aggressor Must Be Held Accountable for the War It Started

WANA (Mar 16) – Iran’s ambassador to Russia said the party responsible for initiating the war must be held accountable and compensate for the damage caused.
Kazem Jalali stated that Iran is in contact with international bodies regarding the recent attack on a school in Minab. However, he expressed scepticism about the effectiveness of such institutions, saying there is little hope for meaningful action from the international community.
“The aggressor must answer for the war it has started and is obliged to compensate for all the damages inflicted,” Jalali said.
He also noted that Iran is ready to work with regional countries to establish joint security mechanisms for the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
