Ghalibaf: No One Can Issue Ultimatums to Iran
WANA (Mar 26) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that no one has the authority to impose ultimatums on Iran or its people.
Referring to the public’s presence over the past 25 nights and the sacrifices made by the armed forces, he described these efforts as creating the conditions for a “historic victory” for Iran.
Addressing the nation, he emphasized that this momentum will be preserved until full victory is achieved, adding that the country’s defenders will not allow the cycle of “war–ceasefire–war” to continue and are determined to break it.

WANA (Mar 26) – Iran’s Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for the positions of the Iraqi government, people, and senior religious authorities, praising their firm support for Iran.
He described Iraq’s strong condemnation of the actions of the United States and the Israeli regime, as well as its solidarity with the Iranian government and people, as “commendable,” noting that such support reflects the depth of relations between the two nations.
The Foreign Minister also thanked the Iraqi side for its expressions of sympathy following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, calling it a sign of the unbreakable bond between the two countries. He added, “True brothers are revealed in times of hardship.”
Iran FM: PGCC Citizens Being Used as “Human Shields” by U.S. Forces
WANA (Mar 26) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, stated in a post on X that citizens of Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) countries are being used as “human shields” by U.S. forces. He wrote:
“From outset of this war, U.S. soldiers fled military bases in GCC to hide in hotels and offices. They use GCC citizens as human shield. Hotels in U.S. deny bookings to officers who may endanger customers. GCC hotels should do same.”
Air Defense Intercepts Cruise Missiles in Central and Western Iran
WANA (Mar 26) – Iranian air defense units reported intercepting and destroying two cruise missiles in separate incidents across central and western parts of the country.
According to the reports, one cruise missile linked to a U.S.-Israeli coalition was shot down over Buin Zahra in Qazvin Province.
In a separate development, another Tomahawk cruise missile was intercepted and destroyed in the western province of Hamadan.

“The U.S. backed Israel’s Gaza blockade, cutting aid under “security” claims, yet condemns Iran for defending itself in the Strait of Hormuz. Double standard: Israel’s crimes are OK while Iran’s defense against aggressors is condemned. International law is not a tool of convenience.”

In its Statement No. 44, the army said the attacks were carried out in response to what it described as enemy actions against Iran’s missile and drone capabilities.
According to the statement released by the army’s public relations office, a number of critical and vital sites linked to Israel in the strategic port of Haifa were struck by Iranian army drones.

Explosive Devices Disguised as Food Cans Strike Shiraz, Causing Civilian Casualties
WANA (Mar 26) – Explosive devices resembling food cans were dropped in a residential area of Shiraz, leaving a number of civilians dead and injured.
According to available reports, the items—slightly larger than standard tuna cans—were released by aircraft over populated neighborhoods. Upon impact, they detonated, resulting in casualties and damage at the scene.
Reconnaissance Drone Shot Down in Avaj, Qazvin Province
WANA (Mar 26) – The public relations office of the IRGC in Qazvin Province announced that in the early hours of this morning, a reconnaissance drone belonging to the United States and the Israeli regime was shot down after entering the province’s airspace.
According to the statement, the drone was detected and tracked in time before being targeted by the air defense units of the IRGC’s Hazrat-e Saheb al-Amr (A.S.) forces in the Avaj area. It was subsequently destroyed by nationwide air defense fire, and the threat was said to have been fully neutralized.
