Suicide Drone and IED Workshop Discovered in Rey, Tehran

WANA (Jun 16) – A clandestine workshop for the production of suicide drones and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was uncovered in Rey following reports of suspicious activity, according to Hossein Mafi, Chief of Rey Police.

 

Chief Mafi told reporters that the discovery was made after local residents reported unusual movements at a residential property. Acting on the tip and with judicial authorization, intelligence and law enforcement teams raided the location.

 

“A large number of drones, suicide drone assembly parts, homemade bombs, and related military-grade equipment were seized,” Mafi stated.

 

Authorities reported the seizure of: Over 200 kilograms of explosive material, 30 drone wings, 33 launchers, and a wide range of components used in the construction of suicide drones.

 

Mafi emphasized that if these devices had become operational, they could have caused severe casualties and damage across the country.

 

224 Killed Since Start of Israeli Strikes, Majority Civilian

WANA (Jun 15) – The Iranian Ministry of Health has announced a significant civilian toll following 65 hours of continued Israeli attacks, with 224 people confirmed dead, including women, men, and children, and over 1,481 injured.

 

Health Ministry Spokesperson’s Statement:

“The tragic outcome of the false claim that ‘Israel has no issue with the Iranian people and only targets military sites’ has been made painfully clear. Of the 1,481 injured and martyred, more than 90% are civilians, with 1,277 currently hospitalized in university medical centers across the country.”

Discovery of Israeli Drone Cargo in Tehran

WANA (Jun 15) – Field sources report the discovery of a shipment of drone-related equipment linked to the Israeli regime in Tehran’s Towhid Tunnel. According to informed sources, the cargo included components associated with unmanned aerial vehicles, guidance systems, and possibly sabotage-oriented gear.

 

The discovery coincided with the arrest of two alleged Mossad operatives in the Fashafouyeh area of Tehran. According to police, over 200 kilograms of explosives were found in their possession, along with equipment for 23 drones, including launchers and controllers.

 

Head of IRGC Intelligence Organization Killed in Israeli Attack

WANA (Jun 15) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that the Head of its Intelligence Organization, Mohammad Kazemi, following an airstrike by the Israeli regime, has lost his life.

In response, the IRGC Aerospace Force has launched a new wave of missile operations targeting Israeli intelligence centers as part of Phase Three of Operation ‘True Promise 3’. The strikes are described as part of a broader retaliation campaign.

 

The IRGC also warned that: “Supporters of this criminal regime must understand that effective and targeted operations against vital interests of this illegitimate entity will continue until its complete destruction.”

Mossad Spy Arrested While Attempting to Flee Iran

WANA (Jun 15) – An alleged senior Mossad operative was captured by Iranian security forces while attempting to flee the country through the western border near Baneh, according to official reports.

 

Authorities confirmed that the individual was identified and arrested during an escape attempt, thwarting what they described as a serious espionage operation.

 

Security officials credited the vigilance of local residents and their timely reporting for enabling the arrest, stating that the incident helped preserve national security.

 

Israel Targets Three Locations in East Azerbaijan Province

WANA (Jun 15) – Israel has reportedly launched a direct strike on a section of the Iranian Foreign Ministry complex, according to Iranian officials.

 

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh confirmed the incident, stating that “the criminal Israeli regime carried out a deliberate and brutal attack on one of the Foreign Ministry buildings located across from the Institute for Political and International Studies.”

 

The attack resulted in several civilian injuries, including a number of Foreign Ministry staff who were immediately hospitalized for treatment.

 

Khatibzadeh described the incident as “a clear war crime”, adding that it forms part of Israel’s “ongoing and systematic aggression” against Iran.

According to news agencies, the sounds were caused by explosions near Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport in Mashhad.

 

Following the impact of projectiles in the vicinity of the airport, Mashhad’s air defense systems were promptly activated and successfully neutralized all hostile targets.

 

No damage was inflicted on airport buildings or runways, and full security has been restored at the airport.

The IRGC’s public relations office announced that, as part of the ongoing “True Promise 3” offensive operation—launched in retaliation to recent acts of aggression by the Israeli regime—Iran targeted Israel’s jet fuel production facilities and energy supply centers with a large number of drones and missiles.

 

The IRGC Aerospace Force, operating under the country’s integrated air defense network and joint command, intercepted and destroyed three cruise missiles, ten drones, and dozens of hostile miniature UAVs belonging to the Israeli military in affected areas.

 

 

In the early hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025, air defense systems were also activated in parts of Tehran to intercept incoming projectiles.

 

Although the air defense units successfully neutralized the majority of the incoming Israeli strikes, Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum confirmed that one projectile hit the Shahran oil depot, damaging a fuel storage tank.

Yemen’s military spokesman announced a new missile operation against the occupying forces in Tel Aviv, confirming that the strike was carried out in coordination with an operation by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

According to the spokesman, Yemen’s missile force conducted military operations over the past 24 hours using several hypersonic ballistic missiles of the “Falasteen-2” type, targeting sensitive Israeli positions in the occupied Yafa area (Tel Aviv).
