WANA (Jun 22) – Majid Mosayebi, son of Rajab-Ali, who had been arrested and prosecuted on charges of espionage and intelligence cooperation with the Israeli regime, was executed by hanging this morning after his death sentence was upheld by Iran’s Supreme Court following the full criminal trial process.

According to the case files, Mosayebi had worked with Mossad, the intelligence agency of the Israeli regime, attempting to provide classified information about sensitive Iranian locations and individuals of interest. In exchange for his services, he reportedly received payments in cryptocurrency.

The convict established contact with a Mossad handler named “David” in one of the Persian Gulf countries and maintained regular weekly communication with him, submitting operational reports via a secure communication channel.

Following his identification and arrest, formal charges were brought against Mosayebi. Court sessions were held in the presence of the defendant and his attorney. Based on credible evidence and documentation presented by judicial authorities, as well as the defendant’s own confessions regarding his ongoing collaboration with Mossad through his handler “David,” the Revolutionary Court in Isfahan convicted him of moharebeh (waging war against God) and corruption on earth through espionage and cooperation with a hostile foreign government, sentencing him to death.

The verdict was later reviewed by the Supreme Court, which upheld the sentence. Ultimately, after the completion of all legal procedures, the execution was carried out, and Majid Mosayebi was hanged.
