WANA (Jan 05) – An Israeli settler has been arrested on allegations of cooperating with Iran and collecting intelligence on former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

According to Israeli Army Radio on Monday, a 30-year-old man from the city of Rishon LeZion in central occupied Palestine was arrested on charges of collaboration with Iran.

Based on these claims, the individual was detained after filming the area surrounding the home of Naftali Bennett, Israel’s former prime minister.

Israeli sources said the suspect was arrested in December 2025. Israeli police alleged that the man carried out missions under Iranian direction, including filming, gathering information, and transferring it to Tehran.

According to the allegations, the assignments initially involved simple tasks but gradually expanded, with the suspect collecting information in several different cities and sending it to individuals linked to Iran.

Israeli sources also claimed this is the second time in recent months that Naftali Bennett has been targeted by alleged espionage activities.
