WANA (Jul 25) – The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced today that it has received a report of an incident involving a tanker and military forces in the Gulf of Oman.

 

In an advisory published on X (formerly Twitter), the agency stated that authorities are aware of the incident and that investigations are currently ongoing.

 

According to a map released by the UKMTO showing the location of the event, the incident occurred in the waters of the Gulf of Oman, east of the port of Fujairah.
