WANA (May 21) – Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, rejected recent media speculation regarding the details of negotiations aimed at ending the war, stressing that none of the claims circulating in recent days can be confirmed and that reports concerning nuclear-related issues are without credibility.

Speaking on Thursday evening, Baghaei said that the current focus of the negotiations is on ending the conflict across all fronts, including Lebanon. He emphasized that media reports referring to nuclear matters — including enriched materials or enrichment activities — are merely speculative and lack any factual basis.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also noted that accurate information regarding the negotiations will be released only through officially authorized officials and the spokesperson for the negotiating delegation. He urged media outlets to avoid publishing unverified claims and unsupported analyses.

Baghaei further stated that the diplomatic process is being pursued with the aim of safeguarding national interests and promoting regional stability, adding that any reliable updates on the negotiations will be announced exclusively through official channels.
