WANA (Aug 22) – Reza Najafi, Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), announced that following the recent talks held during the Deputy Director General’s visit to Tehran, today the Iranian delegation met with the IAEA Deputy Director General for Safeguards in Vienna.

In this meeting, both sides continued discussions initiated in Tehran and exchanged views on how Iran will engage with the IAEA in light of the new circumstances created by the unlawful attacks of the United States and the Israeli regime on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, as well as within the framework of the new law passed by the Iranian Parliament. The new conditions set by the Islamic Republic of Iran for cooperation with the IAEA were outlined.
