Mehdi Torabi’s US Visa Issued
WANA (Jun 17) – The Football Federation has announced the issuance of a multiple-entry visa to the United States for Mehdi Torabi.
Following the match between the teams of Iran and New Zealand in the first round of the World Cup group stage, and as the Iranian national team was leaving the United States via Los Angeles Airport, the Iranian delegation was informed that Mehdi Torabi’s visa had expired.
This issue caused significant concern among football fans in Iran regarding the national team star’s presence in upcoming matches.
Federation and FIFA Cooperation
However, moments ago, the Football Federation announced that following the expiration of Mehdi Torabi’s “single-entry” visa to America, and through actions taken by the Football Federation in coordination with FIFA, the player received his “multiple-entry” visa today.
Consequently, with the visa now issued, Mehdi Torabi will face no issues accompanying the national football team in the upcoming games and can travel with the Iranian squad.
Injury Recovery
The player, who had also suffered a minor injury during the training camp, has now regained his fitness and is ready to take the field for the national team.
