WANA (May 04) – Air raid sirens were once again heard across the United Arab Emirates as a series of security and military incidents unfolded in different parts of the country, according to news sources.
Reports indicate that Dubai Port was targeted in missile strikes, with local sources saying some facilities linked to the United States sustained damage.
At the same time, Fujairah’s government media office announced a fire at a petrochemical industrial complex, caused by a drone strike.
The UAE Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems are actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones launched toward the country.
Flight data shows that air traffic across the UAE has been suspended, while several inbound flights have been diverted.
Meanwhile, incidents involving two vessels have been reported in UAE waters. According to sources, one incident occurred 14 miles west of Saqr Port, and another 36 nautical miles north of Dubai. Some reports suggest the vessels caught fire.
