WANA (Jul 16) – Mohammad Mokhber, adviser and aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned that any attack on Iran’s security and infrastructure could have far-reaching consequences for the region’s energy supply chain.

 

Responding to continued attacks on civilian facilities in Iran and ongoing threats by U.S. officials, Mokhber said in a post on his personal page that the recent incidents in Ahvaz and Iranshahr were, in his view, a continuation of a pattern that began with the attack on a school in Minab.

 

He claimed that targeting defenseless civilians was aimed at compensating for battlefield failures, adding that those supporting such actions should understand that harming Iran’s infrastructure would amount to a “one-way ticket toward the destruction of the entire regional energy supply chain.”

 

Mokhber’s remarks came amid heightened tensions and growing concerns over the potential impact of military escalation on regional security and energy markets.
