WANA (Jun 28) – Mohammad Mokhber, adviser and assistant to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said repeated U.S. violations of the first clause of the recent ceasefire memorandum of understanding, along with Iran’s response, have reinforced Tehran’s determination to stand firm.

 

In a post on his personal account, Mokhber wrote:

“The historical memory of America’s rulers is as short as the lifespan of their commitments. Violating the recent memorandum of understanding and returning to a policy of aggression will only strengthen our resolve to resist.”

 

He added that “as long as the Strait of Hormuz remains under our undisputed management, their hegemonic ambitions in the region will not be realized.”

 

Mokhber concluded by saying, “It is a mistake to repeat a failed test.”
