WANA (Jul 13) – Following the overtly terrorist act by the Israeli regime in attacking a meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council amid the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, journalists have now obtained new details about this operation.

On the morning of Monday, June 17, while the Supreme National Security Council meeting was underway with the presence of the heads of the three branches of government and other senior officials in the lower levels of a building in western Tehran, the attack began.

The design of this operation resembled the attempted assassination model for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The attackers fired six bombs or missiles at the building’s entrances and exits in order to block escape routes and disrupt ventilation.

After the explosions, the power to that floor was cut, but officials used an emergency hatch that had been prepared in advance to exit the building. Some officials, including President Pezeshkian, sustained minor injuries to their legs while evacuating.

Given the precision of the intelligence behind the attack, the possibility of an infiltrator is under investigation. This incident underscores that the enemy will use any means, including the assassination of senior officials, to undermine Iran’s national security.

Meanwhile, Western and Israeli-aligned media, despite their support for state terrorism, hypocritically attack the religious rulings declaring Trump and Netanyahu as “mohareb” (those waging war against God), all while failing to mention these individuals’ ongoing crimes against the people of Iran and the region.

On June 13, under the pretext of countering Iran’s nuclear program, the Israeli regime began strikes against various targets, both nuclear and military, which ended after twelve days with a ceasefire announced by U.S. President Donald Trump.

During this period of aggression by the occupying regime, the Islamic Republic delivered a forceful response to Tel Aviv, targeting various Israeli positions.
