WANA (Jun 11) – Informed military sources have revealed new details regarding a complex intelligence and operational blueprint executed by Iranian forces to track and strike high-value U.S. military assets across the region during Thursday’s early morning operations.

 

According to these sources, the targeted operations caused significant damage to expensive U.S. military hardware. While American officials have acknowledged the strikes, Washington has not yet released a detailed assessment of the material losses.

 

Strategic Reconnaissance and Tracking

A military source stated that Iranian forces meticulously monitored the flight paths and deployment sites of two large U.S. P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft from the moment of their takeoff.

 

One of the aircraft was tracked departing from the strategic Diego Garcia airbase in the central Indian Ocean, while the second was detected leaving a U.S. facility in Western Europe, both heading toward the southern Persian Gulf.

 

“The specific deployment locations of these aircraft at the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait were subsequently targeted by precision-guided Iranian weaponry,” the military source stated.

 

Solid-Fuel Missile Strikes in Jordan

A second source disclosed that Iranian intelligence kept a continuous visual and electronic watch on at least three American F-35 fighter jets stationed inside a specific hangar at the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan right up until the moment of engagement. The hangar was then targeted using long-range, solid-fuel ballistic missiles.

 

Videos circulating on Jordanian social media platforms appear to show projectiles bypassing Patriot air defense missile batteries before impacting their targets. Furthermore, imagery emerging this morning from the vicinity of the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base showed two distinct columns of thick smoke rising from the aircraft hangar sector.
