WANA (Jun 15) – Amid escalating military tensions between Iran and Israel, a fresh wave of Iranian missile attacks targeted sites within the occupied territories on Monday night at 9:00 p.m. Tehran time. The strikes, conducted under the operation codenamed “True Promise 3”, were described as a direct response to Israel’s airstrike on Iranian soil on June 13.

According to official sources within the Israeli military, the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Ashkelon came under missile fire as the operation began. Hebrew-language media reported several explosions near the port of Haifa and noted that air defense systems attempted to intercept the incoming missiles.

Sources close to Israeli intelligence in Tel Aviv have reported damage to a Rafael weapons manufacturing facility near Haifa. This factory is considered one of Israel’s key centers for the design and production of defense systems.

This missile strike marks Iran’s fourth direct and reciprocal response to recent Israeli military actions. On June 13, Israel launched an airstrike targeting a military installation in western Iran. The Islamic Republic immediately announced that its response would be “decisive and at a time of its choosing.”

Since then, four waves of missile attacks have been launched by Iran against the o ccupied territories, officially referred to as “True Promise 3” operations.

Warning Before the Attack

Before the third round of strikes, a spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces Communications Center issued a video message directed at residents of the occupied territories:

“Leave the occupied lands. This is the only way to save your lives.”

As of now, official sources in Tehran have not released further details about the types of missiles used or the precision of the strikes. On the other hand, Israeli security officials have also refrained from disclosing specific information about the extent of the damage.
