WANA (Jul 13) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized that the country’s diplomatic apparatus, in coordination with the armed forces, will spare no effort in defending the legitimate and lawful rights of the proud and resilient Iranian people.

Writing on his official Instagram account about his recent meeting with foreign ambassadors and representatives based in Tehran, Araghchi stated: “Yesterday evening, during a meeting attended by ambassadors and senior foreign diplomats residing in Tehran, I outlined the principled and firm positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the recent imposed war by the Zionist regime and the United States against our country.”

He added, “The diplomatic apparatus, working alongside the armed forces and relying on the unwavering determination of the great Iranian nation, will leave no stone unturned in securing the nation’s rightful and legal entitlements.”

Addressing the subject of negotiations during the same meeting, Araghchi stated: “In any diplomatic resolution, the Iranian people’s nuclear rights — including the right to enrichment — must be respected. We will not accept any agreement that does not recognize Iran’s right to enrichment. We have made great sacrifices for this right, and a war was imposed on us because of it. If any negotiations are to take place, the sole subject will be nuclear issues in exchange for the lifting of sanctions. No other topics will be on the table.”

He firmly concluded: “Iran will maintain its military and defensive capabilities under all circumstances. These are for defense purposes only and will not be part of any negotiations.”
