WANA (Jun 23) – Ghorbanzadeh, a member of the Iranian negotiating delegation, emphasised that no monopoly on purchasing American goods basically exists either in the text of the memorandum, in the negotiations, or in any draft text.

 

He stated that the Vice President of the United States or any other person might raise any issue for domestic consumption, but what is important is what written and signed agreement has been reached.

 

This member of the Iranian negotiating delegation added that this claim is more of an admission—an admission that the possibility of purchasing agricultural products exists not only from other countries but also from the United States, but the choice belongs to the buyer, namely the Islamic Republic of Iran.
