No Possibility of Negotiations with the U.S. for Now
WANA (Nov 09) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, in response to a question about the possibility of resuming talks with the United States, said: “The reality is that at the present time, there is no possibility whatsoever, because we see no positive or constructive approach from the American side.”
He emphasized that there is currently no opportunity to restart negotiations with the United States, adding: “Whenever the Americans are ready for a negotiation based on equality and mutual benefit, then such talks could become possible.”
Araghchi reiterated: “The reality is that at this moment, no such possibility exists, as we observe no constructive attitude from the U.S. side.”
He further noted: “Whenever they are prepared for talks on an equal footing — aimed at a fair and mutually beneficial agreement — negotiations could be considered, and Iran would be ready to examine the option. But the current approach we see from the Americans does not indicate any such readiness.”
