WANA (Jul 31) – Iran’s President stressed that no power in the world can withstand a nation that is united and resilient. Referring to recent events and the 12-day defense by Iranian forces, he said those who thought they could bring the country to its knees within days have now realized they are powerless before the will of the people.

Expressing gratitude to the Army, the IRGC, the Basij, and popular forces, he noted that despite all threats and pressures, these forces managed to push back the Zionist regime — even with its Iron Dome — and the United States with its advanced military equipment. According to him, the resistance of the Iranian nation proved that sanctions and external pressure cannot break their resolve.

The President also criticized certain individuals abroad who, during the recent aggression, took a stance against their own people instead of defending their homeland. He emphasized that the Iranian nation has shown, even under the harshest conditions, that regardless of political orientation or circumstance, it is ready to defend its soil and sovereignty.

Highlighting the decisive role of public participation in recent days, he added that the scenes created by the people have further deepened the sense of responsibility and indebtedness felt by the country’s officials. He affirmed that no words are sufficient to thank the people, and that the government has a duty to make every effort to ensure their peace, welfare, and the resolution of their problems.

He concluded that as long as national unity and solidarity endure, no obstacle will be able to halt Iran’s path toward development and progress.
