WANA (May 25) – The Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) of Iran announced on Monday, May 25, that 40 percent of the country’s airports have officially reopened, with Iran’s third-busiest international airport scheduled to resume operations within days.

 

The CAO Spokesperson, Majid Akhavan, confirmed that 20 airports across the country have successfully resumed operations following the recent war. He added that Tabriz International Airport is slated to reactivate within the coming week.

 

Tabriz Airport is a key regional hub, serving nine international destinations, including Istanbul, Baghdad, Dubai, Baku, and Hamburg.

 

List of Reopened Airports Post-War

The CAO released the official list of the 20 operational airports currently servicing flights:
