WANA (Apr 02) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army stressed the full readiness of the armed forces to confront any potential hostile action, instructing commanders of military units and operational headquarters across the country that, in the event of any enemy ground operation, the army’s response must be such that “not a single attacker survives.”

Major General Abdolrahim Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, made these remarks during a live communication from one of the army’s command and control centers with military commanders and operational headquarters nationwide. He emphasized the necessity of maintaining constant readiness in both offensive and defensive domains.

During the meeting, attended by commanders of the army’s ground forces, air defense, air force, and navy, Hatami referred to the current sensitive situation and stated that the Iranian Army is fully prepared to counter any possible hostile moves. He added that enemy activities must be monitored “with utmost suspicion and precision” on a moment-by-moment basis.

The Commander-in-Chief also urged commanders to implement response plans for various potential enemy invasion scenarios at the appropriate time. In one of the most explicit parts of his remarks, he stressed that if the enemy launches a ground operation, army forces must act in a way that ensures none of the attackers survive.

Hatami further outlined the strategic framework of the Islamic Republic of Iran under current conditions, stating that the primary objective is to keep the country out of war while ensuring security for the Iranian people. According to him, it is unacceptable for parts of the region to enjoy security while Iranians are deprived of it. He also emphasized that pressure on adversaries will not cease until the defined objectives are achieved.

In another part of his speech, he described recent remarks by the U.S. President about “changing Iran’s map after this war” as clear evidence of the real intentions of the United States and Israel. He said these positions indicate that adversaries are seeking to strike at “the name and existence of Iran.”

Referring to public awareness within the country regarding the dimensions of this threat, Hatami stressed the need to continue resistance based on national will. He stated that the decisive approach at this stage is to move forward under the slogan “All for Iran” and to continue confronting aggressors until full victory is achieved.

In conclusion, Hatami pointed to the public campaign “Sacrifice for Iran,” which emerged alongside threats by the United States and Israel against Iran’s coasts, islands, and borders. He stated that army personnel consider themselves devoted to the Iranian people and will stand with full strength, even at the cost of their lives, to defend the country’s territorial integrity and dignity.
