WANA (Mar 22) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) announced that southern and northern areas of the “occupied Palestinian territories” were targeted in the 73rd wave of its “Operation True Promise 4,” carried out under the code name “Ya Haidar.”

According to the IRGC statement, the attacks involved missile and drone units from its aerospace division and were conducted “forcefully and decisively” in tribute to fallen air defense personnel.

The statement claimed that military installations and security centers in Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Be’er Sheva, and Kiryat Gat were struck following what it described as the collapse of Israeli air defense systems. It further alleged that U.S. military bases in the region—including Al Salem, Al Minhad, and Al Dhafra—were also targeted using Fattah, Qadr, and Emad missile systems, along with attack drones.

Field reports cited in the statement indicated that more than 200 people were killed or injured in the initial hours of the attacks. It also claimed that Israeli security authorities have increased pressure on journalists and eyewitnesses to censor coverage of the destruction and casualties.

The IRGC additionally praised the actions of Hezbollah, stating that its forces had contributed to opening a “high-pressure” front against northern and central areas of Israel, framing it as part of a broader regional confrontation.

The statement further described the situation inside Israel as deteriorating, accusing the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu of exacerbating the crisis through its military policies. It also pointed to risks faced by civilians living near nuclear and military facilities.

Concluding, the IRGC asserted that the dynamics of the conflict are rapidly shifting and claimed that Israel’s ability to maintain control and defense over its territory is weakening.
