WANA (Jun 24) – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has announced that a new round of technical negotiations between Iran and the United States will resume in the coming days at the expert level, with mediation by Pakistan and Qatar.

 

Tahir Andrabi, spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the talks between Tehran and Washington have produced significant results, adding that the mediating countries, Pakistan and Qatar, are responsible for facilitating and following up on the implementation of the agreements reached by both sides.

 

He noted that one of the key outcomes of the understandings achieved so far is the establishment of a direct communication channel between Tehran and Washington aimed at preventing misunderstandings and improving crisis management between the two countries.

 

Andrabi also emphasized that Pakistan remains in close contact with friendly countries and partners that have played a constructive role in supporting the negotiation process between Iran and the United States. According to him, ongoing consultations are being held with both the Iranian and American sides to ensure the effective implementation of the agreed arrangements.

 

The Pakistani official said the country’s diplomatic teams are engaged in continuous coordination and discussions with Tehran and Washington to guarantee the full and effective execution of the provisions contained in the understanding reached between the two sides.

 

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry further stated that technical negotiations between Iran and the United States remain ongoing despite occasional pauses in the process. The ministry added that expert-level technical talks are expected to resume in the coming days under the joint mediation of Pakistan and Qatar, a development that could help advance the next phase of engagement between Tehran and Washington.
