Pakistan PM Reacts to Trump’s Suspension of “Freedom Project”
WANA (May 06) – Pakistan’s prime minister reacted to the decision by Donald Trump to suspend the so-called “Freedom Project” in the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a constructive step toward easing regional tensions.
He emphasized Islamabad’s commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at promoting restraint and achieving a peaceful resolution, adding that Trump’s positive response to requests from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other countries could help strengthen peace and stability in the region.
The prime minister also praised what he called Trump’s “gracious response” to the appeals made by Pakistan and its partner countries, particularly Saudi Arabia and Mohammed bin Salman. He described the move as a significant step toward advancing peace, stability, and regional reconciliation at a critical moment.
