WANA (Jun 13) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that Pakistan is preparing to electronically sign a peace agreement following the highly anticipated finalization of an understanding between Iran and the United States, which is projected to occur within the next 24 hours. The signing will be immediately followed by technical negotiations next week.

 

Expressing optimism on his official social media account, X, Sharif stated that the parties are closer than ever to a peace agreement.

 

The Prime Minister added that given the anticipated finalization within the next 24 hours, Pakistan is making arrangements to electronically sign the peace accord immediately afterward, with detailed technical talks scheduled to follow next week.

 

Furthermore, Sharif extended Pakistan’s gratitude to both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States for their sustained commitment throughout the negotiation process. He also expressed sincere appreciation to regional allies for their continued support.

 

The Pakistani Prime Minister concluded by expressing full confidence that this historic peace agreement would establish a solid foundation for enduring peace in the region.
