WANA (Jun 14) – In response to the recent Israeli attack on Iran, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif declared his country’s full support for Iran and urged all Muslim nations to unite against Israeli aggression.

Speaking during a session of Pakistan’s National Assembly on Saturday, Asif strongly condemned Israel’s actions, stating: “Israel launched an attack on Iran last night, targeting military facilities and martyring Iranian commanders.”

The minister emphasized that Israel is not acting alone in this conflict. “Iran is our neighboring country. We share centuries-old relations, and in this experience, we stand by Iran in every possible way. We will protect Iran’s interests. Iranians are our brothers, and we share in their grief and sorrow,” he said.

He further stressed that Israel has been targeting Yemen, Iran, and Palestine, making unity within the Islamic world absolutely essential. “If we remain silent and divided today, eventually, we will all be targeted,” Asif warned.

Calling for immediate action, Asif urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene an emergency meeting to develop a united strategy. “Even non-Muslim communities in the West are rising in protest against Israel. Their conscience has awakened,” he added.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s consistent foreign policy, Asif reiterated that Pakistan has never recognized Israel and has no diplomatic ties with the regime. “Our stance has been clear from day one,” he said.

This statement marks one of the strongest expressions of solidarity from a senior Pakistani official amid rising regional tensions, following the deadly Israeli strikes on Iranian soil.
