WANA (Aug 10) – Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation this Monday afternoon with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations and key regional and international developments.

 

During the dialogue, both officials exchanged views on current geopolitics, placing particular emphasis on the evolving situation across the region and ongoing efforts to promote long-term peace and stability.

 

The Iranian Foreign Minister outlined the latest status of bilateral talks between Iran and Oman regarding the determination of an appropriate route for the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s determination to continue this process.

 

Dar also outlined the Pakistan’s views regarding the trilateral defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, highlighting the pact’s core objectives to strengthen strategic cooperation and contribute to broader regional peace and security.
