WANA (Sep 29) – Iran’s President said: “They want to sanction us because we refuse to bow down before them, because we will not accept humiliation. The idea of bringing Iran and its people to their knees is nothing but a dream.”

He added: “Creating artificial expectations in society and pushing people to voice their grievances is part of a scheme designed by the enemy.”

The President continued: “The choice lies with our nation: either we bow down, or we stand firm, work hard, and create new solutions to resolve our challenges.”

He stated: “In government, we will do everything within our power to safeguard the dignity and honor of the country. We will exert our utmost efforts to overcome difficulties and place all our capabilities at the service of the people.”

The President went on: “These people who speak of human rights and democracy—the same Europeans with their postures and the Americans who claim to care for humanity—just look at what they are doing in Gaza.”

He noted: “A country that has thrown the region into turmoil for decades has never once been sanctioned or condemned in the Security Council—only because the United States sits there and erases everything with a single veto.”

Pezeshkian reiterated: “They want to sanction us because we refuse to bow down, because we will not accept humiliation. The thought of subjugating Iran and its people is nothing but a delusion.”

The President added: “This so-called human rights system, this United Nations and UNESCO, is nothing but a lie. Innocent people are being killed before their very eyes, while Israel strikes any country it wants without consequence. They want to force us to yield before vile and corrupt individuals, but even the idea of that has no place in my mind.”

He concluded: “They never imagined that during those twelve days of war, our beloved people would stand together in such unity. They thought Iran had grown weak, but the resilience of the nation overturned all their calculations. We have not come to rule over the people or to show arrogance; we have come to serve them, and as far as our strength allows, we will work for their dignity and honor.”
