Pezeshkian Departs Armenia for Belarus
WANA (Aug 19) – At the official invitation of his Belarusian counterpart and following the conclusion of his visit to Armenia, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian left Yerevan for Minsk a short while ago.
On Tuesday evening, August 19, after meetings with the Armenian prime minister and president and holding a session with the high-ranking delegations of both countries, Pezeshkian departed for the next destination of his regional tour — Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
During his visit to Armenia, the Iranian president also met with Armenian Iranologists, members of the Iranian community, and business representatives from both countries.
Invited by the president of Belarus, Pezeshkian will also meet with the Belarusian head of state, the speaker of parliament, and Iranians residing in the country.
Several cooperation agreements are expected to be signed during this trip.
