WANA (Jul 20) – Speaking during a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council this morning, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that Iran has not retreated from its rights, principles, national interests, revolutionary values, or beliefs in any of the 14 clauses of the recent agreement.

The President emphasized that not only were no concessions made against the country’s interests, but a careful review of the agreement’s provisions shows that the bulk of the achievements favored the Islamic Republic of Iran, and practically no clause can be found that creates a one-sided benefit for the American side.

Pezeshkian described the economy and the people’s livelihood as today’s most important battlefield, noting that the nation’s enemies are trying with all their might to block Iran’s paths of progress through various routes.

While asserting that Iran will stand until death to defend the country and the nation’s interests, the President urged realism regarding the natural consequences of this resistance.

He stated that when a decision is made to stand and resist the enemy, the consequences of that decision must be accepted, as one cannot expect a society to face no difficulties during a state of war. To counter these challenges, he stressed that the country needs unity, empathy, and collective wisdom more than ever, promising that the government will seriously pursue reforming unjust structures.

During the council session, President Pezeshkian also highlighted domestic governance, praising the current coordination between the executive branch, Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf as a rare and commendable example of unity.

He invited all national experts and capable managers to step forward and assist the government in fixing administrative defects, promising them the necessary legal authority.

Concluding his address, the President thanked the judiciary officials and personnel present at the meeting, describing the administration of justice and safeguarding public rights as one of the heaviest and most difficult responsibilities within the Islamic system.
