In a series of high-level meetings on Wednesday during his official visit to Muscat, Pezeshkian held separate talks with Omani Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said and Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing regional developments.
President Pezeshkian reiterated that both countries possess significant capacities for expanding cooperation across various sectors. “Today, we witness a clear willingness on both sides to deepen collaboration,” he said, adding that the Iranian government is fully committed to this path.

Addressing regional instability, the Iranian president underscored that establishing stability is a shared responsibility among Islamic nations. “We have always emphasized that regional peace and security should be achieved by the countries of the region themselves,” he said.
During his meeting with Foreign Minister Busaidi, Pezeshkian also called for continued and strengthened bilateral relations, regional and international cooperation, and the facilitation of economic exchanges and commercial partnerships.
Welcoming Pezeshkian’s visit, Deputy Prime Minister Al Said described it as an effective step toward expanding bilateral ties. He highlighted the longstanding, brotherly relations between Oman and Iran as a model of constructive engagement between neighboring nations.
Al Said praised the Iranian people as “a great nation” and affirmed Oman’s belief in the benefits of dialogue and cooperation with the Islamic Republic.
