WANA (Mar 07) – The President of Iran emphasised that the aggressive enemy is committing crimes without regard for international and human rights standards, and that everyone must stand united and cohesive in resisting these inhumane acts.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, said in a televised message: “I extend my greetings to the dear people of our country and once again offer my condolences for the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, the honorable commanders of our nation, and the oppressed, innocent students who were killed in bombings by those who claim to defend human rights, freedom, and humanity. Unfortunately, a situation has developed in which, with complete disregard for all international laws, they bomb any place they wish and do not hesitate to target schools, hospitals, and various centers across the country.”

He continued: “I find it necessary to thank the great people of our country, who, despite all the hardships, continue to show their presence every night. I appreciate everyone who is Iranian and lives in Iran, regardless of religion, status, or appearance. Their presence in defense of Iran’s territorial integrity and our historically proud nation discourages the enemies from pursuing the goals they have in mind, and we are grateful to our noble people.”

The President added: “All disagreements, concerns, and grievances we may have with one another must be set aside today. We must all join hands and powerfully defend our water, land, and homeland. We will stand firm to the very end to bring Iran out of the crisis it faces with dignity, and the idea of Iran’s unconditional surrender is a dream that our enemies must take to their graves.”

Pezeshkian stressed: “What we are committed to are humanitarian principles and legal frameworks. Those who claim to uphold these principles must themselves abide by them and must not ignore the rights of all countries—especially Iran.”

He said: “Here I must also apologize to neighboring countries that were affected. In the course of the events that occurred, our commanders, our leader, and a number of our compatriots lost their lives due to the enemy’s brutal aggression. Our armed forces—heroes who have put their lives on the line to defend our territorial integrity—took the necessary actions independently in the absence of their commanders and defended our land with honor and strength.”

The President emphasized: “We have no intention of aggression toward neighboring countries. As I have said many times, they are our brothers, and we must join hands in the region to establish peace and stability. I hope that, based on the decision taken yesterday by the Interim Leadership Council and communicated to the armed forces, there will be no further missile attacks on neighboring countries unless an attack against Iran is launched from their territory.

Pezeshkian added: “I believe many issues must be resolved through diplomacy, and we should not increase the suffering of our people by engaging in conflict with neighboring countries. Our dear people should know that in the government all ministers and officials are working with full capacity, and we will spare no effort. We are servants of this nation.”

He continued: “We will do our best to ensure that no problems arise from our side. We have been prepared for wartime conditions and will remain prepared. In this blessed month, I ask Almighty God to grant us the faith and conviction to defend the territorial integrity, dignity, and pride of our country and people with strength and honor, and to leave a lesson for future generations—that Iranians will always stand together whenever needed.”

The President further said: “I hope that countries where certain groups or factions are seeking to exploit this opportunity to attack Iranian territory will understand that it is better not to become tools of imperialism. There may be disagreements among us, but supporting Israel, which is committing genocide, and the United States, which behaves arrogantly, will only bring humiliation and dependence. Becoming a tool of colonial powers and agents of genocide is not worthy of those who believe they are seeking freedom and dignity.”

Pezeshkian concluded: “Honor is not achieved by standing beside cunning and deceitful figures and liars. If there are disagreements, it is better to resolve them through dialogue and not become pawns of Israel and the United States. May you remain proud, victorious, and successful, God willing.”
