WANA (Jul 30) – Mehdi Sanaei, Political Deputy to the President of Iran, announced that President Masoud Pezeshkian will travel to Pakistan on Saturday evening, August 2, at the official invitation of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

 

In a post on X, Sanaei stated that Pezeshkian’s visit to Pakistan will include formal meetings as well as discussions with cultural and business elites.

 

He emphasized the multifaceted nature of Iran-Pakistan relations—spanning political, economic, religious, and cultural dimensions—and said that key goals of the visit include enhancing provincial and border cooperation and increasing bilateral trade beyond the current $3 billion.
